    First significant playing time in an nba game + not having Harden or Westbrook with the ball most of the time.

    I had fun.

    I agree with bull. Hopefully this was a learning experience for everyone.

    So... their defense just kicked up a notch. Ours... not so much. This was a dead even game until the pressure kicked up and the team with composure won.

    Yeah, MDA seems to do that a lot. He tends to become clueless when the other teams gain momentum.

    We might win tonight, but as we’ve seen the last few years, that in and of itself is not sufficient in multiple 7-game series against playoff opponents. Just going out every game expecting to outscore the other team is not going to cut it, especially without the sharp shooting talent that is necessary to support that kind of approach. This team needs balance and a defensive mindset in order to do something special.

    MDA did a great job tonight. 5 guys in double figures with quite a few g league guys. I'm proud of him and our "kids". We should have lost by 50 with the talent we rolled out there tonight.

    Key takeaways.

    Hartenstein is a everyday rotation guy.

    Clemons needs more playing time.

    EG's return is going to help tremendously with spacing. Our patented scoring droughts should happen far less.

    They are bench players man, no one should have expected them to win this game. Its what happens when you have bad defense...or even average defense. The bench has been bad at defense ALL season, Like really bad. If you cant play defense, you blow leads. We are only average defensively right now.
