The biggest thing I took from this game is the MDA offense does include movement & off the ball cuts. The problem is with Harden that goes out the window. If Harden atleast TRIED to run the traditional MDA offense in stretches, we'd be unstoppable. Tonight we looked like the old Phoenix teams

Whenever PJ was the small ball 5, Rockets lost the lead. PJ is not effective without Harden's elite post defense.

Russ being rested is not the coaches decision they are done by the medical staff. MDA of all people resting anyone?

Probably not but w/o Capela, Russ and Harden this was going to be a tough one to win. Sorta surprised Russ didn't play on a min restriction but I guess the med staff is sticking to their schedule oh well. Soon as I saw Harden was out I knew we were doomed tonight, the team played better than I trhought they would until the 4th

It's been public knowledge that Dantoni does less practice and shoot around sessions than other coaches and it shows often on the on court product.

We could have been the greatest team on the court.

suppose we should give much attention to DAL vs LAL, witnessed how fast doncic is growing....they have brought down LAL once this season. this young team will definitely be horrible coming years in this division.

I want the record to show I thought this bench could have and should have beaten the Pelicans. I'm not one of those people who think the Rockets have no capable bench players.

Im no saying Harty or Gary shouldnt play, and Mike should be criticized for it....but at some point, you gotta say, hey we need a trade. There is not enough defensive talent on this team. We cant keep playing like this.

And when Harden runs that isolation, we win most games. If we were to switch it, it would mean Harden on the ball less.... which would mean we probably lose more games.

We literally don't have the depth or talent to run that style of play, which was proved tonight.

Takes a lot for harden to sit but even if we were up 9 in the 4th we didn’t have a closer.

I wouldn't trade Hartenstein for defensive talent because he seems like a solid defender himself. Capella is more explosive but it seems like iHart stands his ground better with more strength. He boxes out better also. Capella is good at skying up for rebounds but isn't good at boxing out.
