The defense was pretty good until the refs called 4 fouls in 1 minute and pjt them in the bonus the entire 4th.

Yeah... that was totally a great shot and he should definitely keep shooting.

 

he barely played the 4th because he got a BS 5th foul in early

 

An open Russell Westbrook three when you only need a two to take the lead is not a good shot. He’s shooting 23% from three-point range this season.

 

You underrate my ability to blame MDA .

 

What was it, 8 free throws through the first 3 quarters then 10 within the first 6-7 minutes of the 4th. Whilst that want exactly the ballgame cause we definitely had a chance to pull it out, it sure as hell didn't help. If the Rockets got the same calls that KL was getting in the first 5 minutes of the 4th and was able to get away with all his push offs we blow them out tonight

Just remember everybody, the season is a marathon. The Rockets really really really looked good tonight. There are always tweaks that can be made to be better, but they were still very very good. A lot of positives for sure.

It's obvious the team misses House and EG, they are really essential players. We will get there, just need to keep staying afloat and win the games we are suppose to win and at least break even against the top teams.

 

Sick fact. If Tucker or Westbrook had only made two 3 pt shots and James had only missed 3 instead of 4 free throws we would have won.

Man, I didn't expect to win this game with House and EGO out, but for awhile I actually thought we pulled it off. To think we actually were gonna win then blew it makes me wish I had just crashed early.

 

Assists.

 

I still think there are basic things Capela should be doing. Like that play where he bobbled the ball instead of dunking it, or getting stuffed and then got on the floor to try to get a steal from Kawhi for no reason leading to Williams being free in the corner

 

LOL, but honestly which one us is actually going to like this the next day haha.

 

Have to agree on this particular play/shot he has to defer to James soooooo wtf did James pass it to him ? Right he had 3 guys coming at him which means Russ only has 2 guys to beat off the dribble going to the hoop but he settles for a hit he knows he isn’t good at ... never should have come down to that had he hit his FTs and the other missed 8 fts (sole by Harden ugh) this team really knows how to kick its own ass year in and year out ...

 

While the numbers are good, he still way to slow at catching the ball and finishing/dunking rather than gathering. I honestly don't know what to do with him. That's up to Morey. He is still a good player and his ability to run and play vertical is important but if we had a guy that can shoot...man

 

1/7 from 3. He has no business shooting 7 three pointers let alone one in the crucial seconds at the end with much better options.

 

i give him a pass because he had to play so many minutes tonite. but that point blank shot he got blocked with a minute left would have put us up 5 and probably sealed the win. he got blocked by a guy 2 inches shorter than him. at some point, grow a pair...
