Should we just say screw it and try to let Harden average 40?

Huge reason defense has been lackluster is because of the pace + they aren’t in full shape yet. So they are tired on the defensive end and having a lot of mental lapses Bc of fatigue

 

I have no any doubt they will win the championship if adam silver let them...Harden would have won it last 2 years but CLEARLY we saw adam silver had other plans for NBA
If you are a rockets fan imho its hypocritical to blame harden because every year he does it all that is necessary to win



he even called out the leagues front office and the refs after the game 1 rig job last year, for gods sake he even demanded scott foster to not officiate rockets... who does that?

It's all about the rules, if the rules were made in the 90s, Harden's strength going to the hoop was going to get reduced.

He would still be going to the line.

If you cut his driving points from 20 pts a game to let's say 10 or 12 that would be a major accomplishment for the defenders of the league.

He wouldn't have shot that many 3s in the 90s either.......

 

Let's pretend that Harden did not put team on his back after dismal start to season due to injuries and loss of Bzdelik, was 1 game away from 2nd seed in West.

All that efficient chucking only lead to W's and a historic season not seen since the mythical Wilt Chamberlain laced them up.

Tilman sells the team to someone with deep pockets actually willing to do anything to win championships instead of telling us that and doing contrary.

Steph Curry is one of the all time burnt toasts, hands wherever. He’s also a great shooter but has had rules turned into pretzels to make sure he, his small frame and weak ankles could get a shot off.
