Should we just say screw it and try to let Harden average 40?

I think that's probably what Josh Hart was thinking.

Chicken or the egg dilemma. Are we so dependent on Harden isoing and hucking up 15 3pters a game where the team has no structured offensive sets that allows less skilled teammates to get easy buckets besides spot up three point shots because at this point in Harden's career that is the only plays he is capable of or are Harden's teammates that bad that he HAS to play this style?

It's a debate that causes a lot of poo flinging in the GARM. Having the former take will have random posters call you LOFs and trolls.

He would be averaging 40 if he hit his shots

Well...you're being silly for saying Harden is "only capable of chucking up 15 3's a game" (I know you don't like him), but yes...the offense is designed for Harden to do everything. D'Antoni hasn't cared to install any ball movement or things like that. However...it's not like House, Gordon, Tucker, or any of the role players are capable dribblers/passers.

We don't need them to be dribblers though for some reason GARM posters really underate Gordon's slashing ability. We need them to be involved in the offense other than spot up three pointers and often times bad contested step back three pointers.

Most of us have seen enough Warrior games at this point. We have a basic idea of how their offense worked the past few years. Warrior role players get so many easy open opportunities besides 3 pt shots because the stars on the team, Klay and Curry run around half court sets like mad men which results in defenses making errors on switches and help defense on screens and curls which allows the Warrior role players to cut to a wide open paint for an easy shot.

If you notice how the stickers score, they don't cause defenses to make mistakes because the offense is very predictable. This the Rockets only score on pure talent of Harden or Westbrook which isn't sustainable in all situations especially the playoffs.

Exactly. Someone has to take the shot. Who, other than Harden do you want taking them?

That said, this isn’t championship basketball and we all know it. It’s what the Lakers resorted to at the end of Kobe’s career. We have become the Houston Hardens.

Let him? Even if he is missing 80% of his shots he will take enough to get 40 points. He is leading the league again in FGA.

First off I despise pretty boy Curry but Curry puts a hand up its not about if he is a good defender its a better example. For us to win Harden has to be all in or you wont be able to expect others to give a supreme effort

I Agree Curry is nothing but I am just sick and tired of James Ball watching while his teammates are hustling but then on the other end he will take a quick three and miss but they have to chase down his man in transition. Guys have got to be seething. I am not saying James has to be effective or stop anyone he just needs to keep his body in front and give a decent effort on defense not a championship effort but a decent one.

so hands up Curry was all in on defense that why his team this year had supreme effort? (in tanking LOL)

and you're crying in a game where the rockets limited a team averaging 107 points a game to just 100

Surprising that Curry cannot carry GSW to any wins on his own ala Harden but Paschall can. Hmmmm.

I honestly sometimes don't know if you are a troll or actually post sincere thoughts here. If it's the later, you really are a dumb person.

Curry is happy with his three rings. The Warriors are all injured or left. How are you going to blame Curry?

Curry led his team to a 73 win season and a ring with Klay Thompson as the only other all-star.

So he definitely has had the ability to lead a team to the promise land.

fact: curry can't single handedly carry a team to the playoffs like harden can. just accept it

He literally had a 73 win season and won a ring as the best player on his team.

Iggy and Green were also on those teams, with Iggy winning finals MVP. Harrison Barnes had a career year too. Not to mention the deepest bench in the league.

Stop rewriting history and go hime to the GSW boards where you really belong.
