AJ pushes the lefty up to make matching up tougher, but Brantley has been cold. Springer too. I hope they show up tonight. Our top of the lineup needs to be strong.
I've been a proponent of the 3 man rotation in the playoffs. So I'm in. And if he has to go 9, he should go 9. That said, our offense is certainly strong enough to win a urquidy pitchapalooza. I trust our lineup to win a game too. In the end, even if we do win, we are now behind the eightball with the Yankees. But that's how it goes. We should still win that series easily too.
I know. I don't even know when he'll be back next year. I just was sort of curious if what you did to your arm before TJS impacted your recovery time or if it's such an extreme surgery that it's basically a hard reset on your arm and the surgery completely defines your recovery time.
Miley has been average his entire career, but has had long periods of poor results and three seasons +5 era. So for me, it's just the reality of who he is. They'll come up with an excuse, but what I think, it's just Miley being Miley. Never trusted him. He's a coin flip at best. Would leave him off the roster as he has lost our trust.
My understanding is that they replace the torn UCL with tendon from another part of the body. So, yes it is a hard reset as torn UCL is gone.
Ok, now I understand what you were saying. He did go hard all the way into the playoffs. I just hope he comes back stronger than ever next year. Personally, I think hell be back in the first quarter of the year.
