    I’m just a reader of the internet with good general sports and Rockets knowledge, not an alleged “insider” or someone who purports to have “information”. Doesnt matter what I believe. I’m not trying to dupe this very good fan base into believing that I’m someone with sources or that I’m smarter than everyone else based on an I'm-smarter-than-you declarative posting style. Even your latest post above, it's the "even with limited info" schtick. Why do I even bother responding to your stuff ... Its a public service. I'm hoping you'll leave. I don't know what possesses someone to spend a meaningful part of their time doing this stuff; but I fully expect you'll keep scoffing with your smarmy style when other folks say that Philly is interested in Horford, and then keep backpedaling or declaring "fake news" when you end up on the wrong side of it.

    (Lastly, Clutchfans (I guess including Holic), it is basically understood that Holic used to be jopatmc? I'm confused by all of this because jopatmc was just a regular guy posting regular stuff. Are we sure it's the same? Holic, can you address this because my search skills aren't really all that good and I can't come up with the history here. I find all of this to be bizarre. Maybe Holic is a weird invention to be the hot take guy to drum up conversation. I can't come up with an explanation that makes sense to me.)

    Final thoughts heading into the countdown to the moratorium.

    It makes the most sense for us for Butler to opt in and be traded here. I believe the smoke with Boston is real. And i think Hayward could easily be traded. Ssns Hayward for Butler makes sense for Philly along with Dlo to Philly for tobias to the nets.

    I still believe there is a string possibility Butler opts in and a trade is already agreed to too be announced after we've hit the moratorium so that other teams have to plan adjustments during the moratorium.

    Nets want to hold Dlo with a cap hold and not hand to worry about an offer sheet. They want the ability fo SnT DLo. This is important and Ainge is working on playing this angle to force the Nets to SnT for Kyrie so he doesn't lose Kyrie for nothing.

    More later during the moratorium.

    Yeah, I'll be pretty surprised if Butler plays along and forces his way to Houston. I haven't seen anything saying he actually wants to be here.

    Precisely. All we know is MOREY wants him. And that Butler and Harden are close. After those nuggets? We got nothing.

    It would be nice if Butler WANTS to play for Houston to compete with CP/JH for a championship.
