legally speaking, if a college is federal funded (harvard is), then they can't deny someone off their political views.

He isn’t being denied based on his political views. He was accepted with his political views known.

Next you'll tell me that's why those schools can't ban white supremacists from speaking at colleges. Guess what. They can.

There's nothing else for colleges to go on except material from when the applicants were under 18.

    I dunno.

    Extortion?

    OK.

I'm starting to follow the argument, I think. Harvard did this because they are afraid of "SJW's"? Is that it? They wouldn't do it to an "SJW"? Well I'll agree that if, say, a black lesbian made racist remarks, there might be a different standard. I'm a white, straight, middle-aged guy with a public job (in a university!). Yes, there is clearly a double standard in universities and all over the United States. White straight dudes are not the most trendy for sure.

College applications don't work that way.

Agreed, people can change. The "Me Too" (sounds like "Bandwagon," but whatever) movement is another example of ripping people for stuff from their remote past.

That's an admirable ideal. I like that. But universities, and the U.S. media, and social media, and CF, and America, most certainly are NOT about exposing people to new ideas. You and I can take turns posting new ideas and see how much everyone else rips the **** out of us, OK?

But none of that explains what this has to do with Parkand. If Kashuv had not been at Parkland, but was from your own high school, would any of your argument be different?

But then you are arguing hypotheticals in assuming that is not their policy? Isn't it a bigger stretch to assume they are singling him out???

I just posted a story based on what we know. Do you know a university that has that policy?

If you made a racial tweet we dont want you. You probably dont. Thanks for playing

Well, your meme isn't particular accurate... it should read "What about kushner?". Of course, it suggests you don't really care if the racist got into the school or not... you simply want to support trump-like people.

But since you did bring up trump... he got into a different top notch university (Penn) despite being as best a "respectable" or "unexceptionable" student (he has blackmailed the schools from releasing his grades). So it appears kushner followed the trump ("have a rich daddy") approach to earning his entrance into college.

So... thanks for bringing up trump...;)

Sometimes there are serious consequences for things you've said or done.

Pretty sure it didn’t include a passage about how he was a Parkland survivor to butter up admissions.

Ohhhhhhhh, no one would care about this.
    If it's Parkland, we care!
If it's your son, screw it.
I forgot: Parkland is mega-super sensitive. I hope I won't get banned from CF.

His popularity because of his activism is a direct result of the massacre.

What point are you trying to make?

If he's popular, you don't need to explain who he is.
I never heard of this guy.
CNN told me about this guy. (And you told me about this guy.) If this guy wasn't from Parkland, CNN would not tell me about this guy.
CNN likes to tell me about Parkland people. Is that right?
But, aside from that, as Parkland relates to Harvard, there's nothing.
Is there something about Harvard and Parkland?

Holy cow. Though now I can see why the trump supporters are defending him...
