He's about to be 30... seems he's a tad overdue to transition from adult to grown-up.

Grown-ups do not frequent strip clubs, whether they're gold-plated palaces or sticky-floored dives... a bunch of you lot can argue all you want about his 'adult prerogatives' but let's look at it this way:

Hakeem did not become a transcendent player until his Hajj and starting to practice his faith seriously. That means he wanted to become the best man he could possibly be, let alone the most unstoppable post force for most of the 90s. That would include, I believe, the practice of holding women in unconditionally higher regard than those conditional allowances normally relegated to strippers / prostitutes.

For James? Ditch the clubs, focus on basketball excellence, delay glandular gratification... maybe even meet The One... We've all seen his check-in ritual that suggests a nominal Christian upbringing; maybe explore what that all actually means. These are the building blocks of character and he could find himself considerably more fortified as a human being, and even more formidable as an all-around NBA player.

LOL, you need to work on your insults.

If you go back and watch interviews of all the teams who clawed and fought to win a championship, there is a common thread among them. They all took the losses seriously, showed emotion after the elimination and used them as motivation to excel the next year.

I am not saying he needs to curl up in the fetal position and bawl like a little girl but IMHO going to the club is a pretty bad look right after the elimination loss.
