    This.

For many months Morey has tried to deal Knight and consistently the cost has been two #1’s.

We are probably agreeing to this as last minute deal if nothing else happens.

    He's only 27?

I feel like he's been in the league for like 10 years

I'm good with this. If he's healthy, he can definitely help us. If he's healthy, does he make EGo expendable? Can we turn EGo, Chriss, Ennis plus pick for Beal and Green?

As others have posted, this is a back-up deal in case something bigger doesn’t pan out. If it’s February 7th at 1pm and we still have this year’s first round pick, why not make this move? There’s no downside.

If we get under the tax do we get the full MLE this summer?

Should be a done good players to be had at 7-8m a year I would think.

Maybe it’s Clint Capela Burks and 3 future first round picks for Ad and Solomon hill.

    Hey one can dream right?

I don’t think we even have the option of the full MLE without getting under the tax

To replace Knight? Yes. We can still sign House separately. Just saying, if Tilman wants to save money while marginally helping the team; I take no issue with that. I doubt we would pass up a better deal if presented before the deadline

How do we know the expiring won't be flipped elsewhere with whatever / whomever for a player we want?

Lots of teams looking to dump salary. We want to compete. Soooo...

Here's something stupid I came up with that this trade may be useful for:

Burks (10mil/1year), Gordon (26mil/2years), and two firsts for Bradley Beal (75mil/3years) The salaries match and the Wiz would save 40 million, saving them from lux tax hell when Wall's extension kicks in.

Sign Danuel House to bolster wing depth and just hope we have enough offense to win shootouts.

Meh. I’d rather hold on to Knight and the pick until next summer when that package has more value and the team could get a better player. But I guess Burks is pretty decent. I’d feel better if the Rockets were getting a future second rounder back as well.
