In your weak attempt to show why you believe Morey is a crummy GM, you provide a list that shows why he is such a good GM and well respected throughout the league.... nice job!

Pay attention. I just showed why Morey is a GREAT GM. The fact that he got so many good to great players while no one else could see it is a credit to Morey. I just made THE case for Morey while everyone else cries about Morey not doing anything.

Faried another player no one wanted anymore that Morey plucked form obscurity and is now perfect for the Rockets. NBA does not want to cooperate with Morey so this is what Morey is forced to do.

Everyone wants to focus on the handful of mistakes Morey has made and not look at how good he has been for the franchise with ridiculous handcuffs placed on him.

to be fair, James Harden is such fking big safety net. A GM has to literally sign only MCW type player to be exposed. Harden literally can be played alongside any competent players = making Morey life much easier. We can all see that davis can't have the same success with Anderson and Gordon like Harden.

.... how else would we have got him? We were over the cap.

Not really a point in arguing this. I agree with you that’s Morey is a great GM. Just saying CP3 is the only exception.

To be fair, Gordon and Anderson spent alot of time in suits when they were in New Orleans.

I don't really give that much credit to Morey for CP3. It's like when Lebron and Chris Bosh decided to go to Miami, Pat Riley just had to make the math work..

I appreciate the optimism. But that aint gonna cut it against these Warriors.

I still classify EGO and Ryno as real basketball players. Morey saw the vision and it worked. It worked for only 1 year for Anderson though.

ALSO Anderson and EGO being healthy Rockets players makes the Rockets training staff GOAT worthy. I know Clutchfans loves to hate on Keith Jones.

David Locke's definition of "about to make" is way off.

    ...AND SO WHAT?

Buyout market will still be open.

And with health and house this team is READY TO GO anyways.... Rockets havent even put it all together yet.

So what if we salary dump and get under the tax for this year.... give us more leverage going forward....avoiding the repeaters tax.

If there is a plausible deal to be made....we will make it... simple as that.

God man... sometimes I think Clutchfans is full of people that don't really understand everything about the NBA and basketball... just a bunch of people who watch it and just go about their lives.... No real knowledge of the ins and outs.

    Yea...yea... thats it.

Difference is Rockets were an established team, and just coming off the 2nd seed in the west. Morey built a team that CP3 wanted to play for. Little bit different than Wade Bosh and Lebron all wanting to play together.

We would take Wall to rehabilitate him then trade him off next season to a team that wants a superstar point guard.

But most likely we leverage him immediately to a team like the Heat.

Let me put this to you as gently as possible, it's too bad you are brainless.

Bruh if we just get Wes Mathews i’m going to be pissed. At LEAST get Mirotic or Randle.

From best to worst case scenario:

    True contender:

    A. Anthony Davis

    Could be a contender:

    B. Randle & Mirotic, Butler

Not a contender but moves the needle:

    C. Deandre, Randle or Mirotic

    Not a contender:

    D. Wes Mathews, Jamychael Green
