Has to be lopez just makes the must sense team wise n ego wise. It's no way lopez gives u a center controversy. With dj the min clint plays bad everyone on here will be bench clint for dj. So we should do it...dont need to destroy Clints confidence(please do give me if it destroys his confidence then he was the guy speech) we dont need a guy that's as good as Clint we just need a 7 footer that can roll dunk n play alittle d.

 

So what's holding this up is Knicks want to see what they can get in a trade first then possibly buy him out if trade doesn't happen.

 

agrree very reasonable but having dj would be awesome for pnr with cp3 you probably know cp3 and clint dont mesh in pnr as well as harden and clint

If he gets bought out I like our changes. He's wanted to play here and this is really the only viable chance. We'll never be able to sign him in an offseason. He can come finish the year out here and then decide what's next.

 

No, he was a 6’10” 40% 3 point shooter who spaced the floor more than we’ve had before or since. Because he made 18 mil instead of 8 folks like you forget that. He was mismanaged, what seems to be a common theme these days, so they forced themselves to trade away what looked like a solid rookie guard to get one year off the total contract but it meant we had to pick up probably the worst actual player in the league and a guy who hasn’t run or jumped in 2 years.

Mistake is obvious.

 

If we can clear spots, it would be nice to finish out the year with DJ, Wes Matthews and Mirotic. That's a pipe dream for all 3 though lol.
In reality, DJ is the least required by us since we have Clint, but our back up situation sucks. I just think DJ wouldn't accept a back up role. He's not over the hill yet. Playing for the hometown for less than half a season might make it ok for him to take a demotion though.

 

Jordan’s best friend is Durant. Knicks want him to recruit kd. He is likely to stay.

lawl, DJ and Wes aren't getting bought out. They are already suited up and playing for the Knicks today and theres only 3 days left before deadline.

It's not happening. We either make a big trade or suffer an early playoff exit. Faried is okay as a backup center and as long as Capela is healthy, our 5 slot will be fine. We could really use a good SF like House who Tilman refuses to pay.

 

Knicks are going to see if they can flip them before deadline. 1 or both will be bought out before March 1st in my opinion.

 

The buyout deadline isn’t until March.
