Lala had a flourishing career and was well known by anybody who followed pop culture before Melo was even a Thing. She's a lot more well known now bc of her association with him, sure... but I don't see "climber" with her at all. Their separation likely has a lot more to do with him fathering a whole child outside of their marriage than her having ridden his coattails as far as she can.

Never knew about the child thing. The Northwestern graduate from a strip club or something?

Forgive me, I dont fo pop culture or celebrity stuff well. I think it's all pretty toxic given the visual appeal.

Bazemore barely plays any 3... for good reasons, he's a little short. Better of just playing Harden at the 3 then.

Carroll is an expiring contract. There's no way the Nets accept Ryan Anderson for him.

Batum... meh, ok. Hard to see DM doing that, given that Batum is on an even worse contract than Ryno. Paid more with a player option for an extra year at $27 MILLION. So that'd be three more years (he signed a 5 year deal). Consider the current standstill with Capela... they ain't taking Batum with that contract remaining.

Don't get me wrong, might some C+ small forward that is overpaid become available for trade? Sure...

    THRILLING!!! Lol.

Another guy with potential I'd love to see targeted is Josh Huestis.

He's really athletic, can kinda do a little bit of everything. His shot was streaky last year but he hit 36% of his wide open 3s.

Thunder are in tax hell so I think Morey could steal him.

What if Charlotte kicked in a draft pick or 2?

The team is not done being configured.

I think the Rockets just don't see Melo as a starter and are setting his expectations where there's are: they expect to have 5 quality starters--not that they have them this instant--and Melo's role will be off the bench. In other words, I think the Rockets expect to acquire players this off season who are better as starters than Melo would be.

It's fair that MDA laid down terms beforehand because we all know he's tighter than a bull's ******* in fly season when it comes to rotations and bench control.

Fat Melon gonna be soaking up rays and plastic bits at South Beach.

Melo off the bench ruins the off season?

He would probably be starter if the season starts today and he’s on the roster. BUT we aren’t complete with the season and we have humble him before we get him, so we won’t have any problems this season.. Smart.
