We will not get Sanders nor Bogut, I'll bet anyone $50 on that. Who's taking it?

    Nobody really cares...lol

Im just explaining why Bogut wont work here, despite how good someone think he is, its not because he sucks.

If I had to choose between the two. Its choosing between the lesser of two evils. Kind of how the election went, but America chose the most evil.

P.S. Hope you find your dummy...

Brian geltziler reported this morning that he underwhelmed in his workout and had not lift and was also skinny.

Personally I don't see him getting picked up at all by any team.

You can't not play basketball for over 2 years and come becsk to the NBA 20 games before the pkayoffs and help a contender.

I don't know why anyone would think other wise.

He had 1 good season his last two weren't anything special.

Larry sanders was never a great or even good player he got paid on potential.

Meaning I heard it on NBA radio from Brian geltzire a pretty reliable NBA source.

Everything positive you've heard about sanders has been from a Cavs insider tweet I'm I wrong?

Plus the Celtics didn't think he was any good when the worked him out.

Why do we even chase him, he publicly stated he could not keep up with the way we play and now he's been injured..

There's literally no record of this on Twitter or google, appears to be a fabrication.

Clearly the narrative you've been building for 2 days now.

Michael Jordan didn't play for 2 years. Sanders would be playing < 5 minutes per game...

Sanders was a better rim protector than Dwight Howard by change in FG% but that fact seems to continually miss you..

Only players in NBA history to have a better standing reach than Sanders:

    Rudy Gobert - 2013 9' 7"
    JaVale McGee - 2008 9' 6.5"
    Lucas Nogueira - 2013 9' 6"
    Hasheem Thabeet - 2015 9' 6"
    DeAndre Jordan - 2008 9' 5.5"
    Brendan Haywood - 2001 9' 5.5"
    Thon Maker - 2016 9' 5.5"
    Patrick O'Bryant - 2006 9' 5"
    Saer Sene - 2006 9' 5"
    Shaquille O'Neal - 1992 9' 5"
    Brook Lopez - 2008 9' 5"
    DeSagana Diop - 2001 9' 5"
    Loren Woods - 2001 9' 5"
    DeMarcus Cousins - 2010 9' 5"
    Jerome Jordan - 2010 9' 5"
    Solomon Alabi - 2010 9' 5"
    Hassan Whiteside - 2010 9' 5"
    Karl Towns - 2014 9' 5"
    Nikola Vucevic - 2011 9' 4.5"
    Larry Sanders - 2010 9' 4"

Before the season started if I were Bogut I would've probably
said similar things being that the Rockets in no way shape or form appeared to be a team on the rise but rather a team still in chaos striving to be respectable...I can see how he can be utilized against teams like Memphis,Jazz,San Antonio, Clippers to name of a few...spot minutes at the least..and his injury I guess isn't severe enough to keep title contending teams from signing him apparently

How can we offer 9 times the salary that Cavs/Spurs can? Am i missing something? Isn't our cap room something like 3.5M while the other two teams can offer the minimum?

Was thinking the same thing earlier.
Albert Nahmad usually knows his stuff on CBA from what I've seen in the past around the DMo fiasco.

But here, sounds weird to me. He's saying the min salary that Cavs can pay would be 400K over the rest of season. Then he says our $3.5m offer is 9x that. Pretty sure that's not how it works. Our 3.5m contract payments would be prorated too

Since we are actually under the cap, shouldn't we be able to offer him the rest of cap not prorated?

Why would the Cavaliers sign Deron before Bogut?

Maybe I'm the one that doesn't understand how prorating works. I am assuming that if one contract using an exception is prorated then any contract is.

Why would the Union agree to exception contracts being prorated but capspace contracts not?

I don't know. Like a say, Albert Nahmad is pretty into capology. Maybe he's right and exceptions bring you less money than capspace contracts.

Buyout talks for Bogut have not completed, per Stein (couple of hours ago).

[Joe Vardon] Hey, @dana_tassone: Yes, if both players clear waivers, the Cavs should and will try to sign them both. Williams clears waivers at 5 p.m. Saturday; as of this writing Bogut had not been placed on waivers. Williams has indicated he will join Cleveland, and the Cavs have a roster spot. So as long as no team claims him on the waiver wire, Williams is heading here and no one has to lose his job. The Cavs should also pursue Bogut because they only have two healthy bigs on the roster. Kevin Love won't be ready for weeks. And in the playoffs, Bogut's six fouls could be beneficial. If the Cavs can attract Bogut here, my guess is they waive Jordan McRae.
