You're doing a terrible job comparing the two if you don't take into account what they are fans us. A Michael Jackson fan screaming when he performed would look strange if it were David Hasselhoff and they were screaming and carrying on for him. Most people would laugh and say, really? Its all about the context. Harden is a high level player receiving an inordinate amount of hate in comparison to most of his peers who have not had the same success that he has in contrast J Lin fans act as if JLin is a high level player receiving an inordinate amount of hate. There's a difference.

No. I did not compare fanbases in general. I said "SOME Harden fans and SOME Lin fans". Do you even read English?

Yes you said they were identical to which Im saying they can't be identical because Lin isn't on Harden's level.

    Ok. Here is the quote:

    Code:
It's funny and ironic how [COLOR="Red"]some[/COLOR] Harden fans and [COLOR="red"]some [/COLOR]Lin fans are identical in many ways ...
Again, do you even read English?

This is starting to get way off subject and it really doesnt matter anyway but clearly you said they were identical. They are the same in that they are both fans? If you are saying that then that can be said about any fan. But saying that they are indentical is incorrect and it shows the delusion on Jlins fans part and its a clear desperation move to compare Harden's fans to Jlins fans in order to discount them.

Your statement is pretty clear and not at all a generalization of Lin/Harden fans, BUT you failed to take into account that some of those fans of which you referred to, might be reading this and of course take some misplaced anger/resentment at your mostly accurate and benign statement. :p

No, they cant even be the same even if he said SOME and it wasn't general. One is delusional the other is not. Lin isn't on Harden's level so the only way SOME fans can be compared is that they are both "fans" which can be said for anyone. The reason J Lin's name was mentioned was to try to throw a jab at Harden fans who are logical in that they defend him well, dont understand the hate at all and are logically bringing up points in this thread.

DUDE, its not that difficult. He CLEARLY was referring to the existence of crazy fans of either players, which of course is true for most things. His statement isn't long, controversial or even hard to understand.

The objective word in his sentence is "SOME" are identical... "SOME". Unless you think you fit that description fits you, why are you tripping?

So you are claiming there is no delusional harden fan? I refer you to hardentocapela, icecreamman and many others.

I don't know why he brought up lin's, maybe it was to point out how he see similarities in the more insane fans of each player.

I sure as hell disagree with you that there only exists delusional Lin fan but no such Harden fans. There exist delusional fans of nearly everything & everyone, its easy to find on evidence of this on any internet forum.

But hey if you really think, all fans of Harden are inherently nondelusional and impossible to exist... more power to you.

They may be delusional but not in an identical way to Jlin fans, especially when it comes to abilities. Again equating him with Lin is basically trying to discount SOME of Hardens fans. This thread isn't about Harden's fans so why equate SOME of Harden's fans to being identical to Lin's fans in this thread? There are certainly no delusional posts in this thread so why bring them up? Because he disagree's with this thread and is trying to throw a cheap jab without having to have a substantive argument about anything real.

Again, I'm not a mind reader. Unlike you I don't presume to know, perhaps he did it because he noticed the similarity in some on this board or maybe he thought it was funny or maybe he just wanted to point it out or maybe its as you suggest an elaborate seemingly simple factual statement but really a cleverly disguised "cheap jab" at "some" harden fans!

Again it was just one simple sentence, which clearly referred only to a very limited set of fans. If you want to be offended for delusional Harden fans to be compared to delusional Lin fans, I guess Jwolf wronged you then lol.
