We don't need a point guard to play with Harden. We could use a really good shooting guard that can play defense against the opposing teams point guard.

We could use a solid backup point guard for when Harden is on the bench. Rubio doesn't fit on this team as long as we have Harden.

With Mike D in here now, is it time for Mauri to get the PG he's always coveted in Rubio?

I'm really curious as to why everyone says Morey is obssessed with Rubio. Maybe few years ago...but I really don't understand why you would assume Rubio is still a key target for Morey.

I think his lack of shooting will automatically make him a non-candidate.

Rubio's passing and vision fits Pringles system...however his shooting is no where near the minimal requirement

It would makes sense sense they need to run the offense through wiggins and lavine. They also have tyus jones who's untested with massive upside. I really love rubio. Very similar to the play of nash whom florished under D'Antoni

Why not Lebron James or Kevin Durant? I think they could help the team.

It'd fit Moreys MO of getting bad shooters for a 3 point shooting team

Thibodeau will turn Rubio into an All Star. He won't trade him.

Rubio didn't fit in with active post offenses that Adelman, Rambis, Flip and Mitchell utilized.

Sure, I'd take him on for free. Rubio for a trade exception, I'd take the risk.

But it's looking more and more like having a distributing PG is finished in the NBA. Your PG needs to be able to score these days. I think he will develop a 3pter very soon. He's already a good defender. His passing is really good, but what does he do when Harden is running the offense?

Like I said, for free I'd take a chance. Otherwise, screw it.

I would not mind adding Ricky Rubio, he would not be my first choice but a solid addition none the less.

End of the day Rubio is the point guard, and Harden is the scoring guard. The way things should be. Rubio immediately makes everyone else on the floor better, and Harden scoring should become slightly more efficient not having to work so hard for all his field goals.

    BUT...

If we are going to make a trade for someone, I would love to go get the next GREAT point guard in this league (Dennis Schroder). A Schroder - Harden back court is the way to bring CLUTCH CITY back.

other obtainable players...(Seth Curry). All three are different players but all three can play with Harden, Rubio and his lack there of in regards to shooting/scoring make him slightly questionable, but at the end of the day Ricky Rubio DOES NOT turn over the basketball and is a very solid decision maker so we definitely improve there.

    Just a few thoughts. Enjoy.
