It was always going to be a sign and trade imo
Because no one lets their big money stars leave for free

The fact that nobody is even listing Houston as one of Melo's top 2 or 3 teams, much less the frontrunner, makes it quite obvious that Houston is out. There simply seems to be too many factors outside of just who as the best team that Melo is considering.

Maybe La La is getting scared of being seduced by Parsons or her future daughters getting seduced by Dwight.

State taxes...media making the same mistake they did last year. It is LA so off course the seriousness is overblown to make it seem like the Lakers have a real shot.

It feels that way for us, but you can be assured that Morey and crew know if we are in it or not. That means that if we are out like Woj suggests, they are already moving on Bosh in a serious way.

I think we should also be aware of the fact that, for whatever reason, the stars have an agenda on what is leaked. There are always reports out there just before things go down that are the opposite of what happens. Are they sometimes just made up? Sure...Broussard clearly just made stuff up last year with Dwight. But I think more often than not these, writers/reporters/insiders, whatever you wanna call them heard something that was just planted there (Lebron to Chicago by woj for example in the decision part 1).

At this stage we are so close to hearing from the horses mouth it seems to be better just not to get worked up over EVERY piece of news.

Now that you mention it, cyberx is strangely absent in this whole mess.

We'll if he doesn't come to the rockets, Don't know if I would want him to go to ny or LA

    1. NY- he's out the west, he stays where he was, doesn't look that bad that he didn't pick the rockets, because he believes in Phil & stayed loyal, I can respect that

    2. LA - if he goes to NY, then LA will have money to bid on parsons, he will go to lakers over rockets FYI, he's always out there, on record saying that's his favorite place to play, star/actress women "hes single now", and he will get all the fame and endorsements he wants. Also if melo goes to L.A Laker fans trolling will NEVER stop.

Nba needs to do this like the Nfl does just get straight to the point the first freaking day of free agency. Nba so called superstars have too much leverage on the league. They've been wined and dined enough that's why I don't feel bad for any of them that lose everything.

Nice story. Completely irrelevant, too, since it isn't Chandler's choice.

Oh yeah I know that, ever heard of players forcing their way around ? Maybe he would be loyal if he had a $10-13 contract from lakers on table, but his agent could say he really wants to go there. We could still force him to stay though

LA a strong front runner = we got NYK's contract stipulations and didn't like some of the verbage.

Not surprised Melo doesn't strike me as a guy who would wanna play in Texas but NY CHI and LA fit who he is Rondo and Bosh are guys who would play for us being that Bosh is from Texas and Rondo would want to win

Yeah, it doesn't work that way. Ask Eric Gordon.
