There are 417 threads about Jeremy Lin, no biggie. Clutch can lock it or merge it, no hair off my tate LoL
Nah OP good choice to make a thread. In an ideal world some one whould have updated the original Mays thread w/ the signing announcement but this is a rockets forum. No one has the time to do that Lol.
So what's the story on this guy? I never heard of him till he took a chunk of Schaub's ear. Cut by the Broncos? free agent no one had signed yet?
Drafted by the Eagles in the 6th round in 2008; traded to the Broncos in 2010 for RB J.J. Arrington; cut by the Broncos six days ago, signed by the Texans today. Yes, he is most famous for taking off a piece of Schaub's ear last year. He's a depth signing. Maybe he starts but I doubt it. Texans can't depend on Darryl Sharpton. Dobbins or Mays probably shouldn't start but one likely will. Or they could move Reed inside but probably only if they're comfortable with Braman or one of the rooks outside.
Too expensive for the Broncos to keep but a solid player. Probably the best option to start next to Cushing on 1st/2nd down.
I think he only started for the Broncos because DJ Williams was suspended or hurt. He's relatively young you never know with these guys, sometimes they just start clicking once in the right system or with the right coaches.
Yeah,The inside track is between Dobbins and Mays. Both are similar in play and mentality. I highly doubt that Reed will move inside though. Braman is getting beat constantly by backup OL and both fullbacks. Today especially he continuously misses open field tackles and isn't beating anyone on pash rush. Travardo Williams won't make a single start this season. He's way undersized and is being manhandled by every OL player. Montgomery is hurt and hasn't shown a single thing this off-season. Our depth isn't any better at OLB than last year. We've got more bodies but not a whole lot more talent. At least talent that has come to fruition.
Come on texxy, you're better than that. The only people still amused by this are the types that get their sports radio fix from 610.

Considering he'll more than likely be a starter and is clearly coming here with a chip on his shoulder after his last year in Denver, I would for one say this signing is completely Relevant. The dude can destroy RB's, blitz the QB, and murder return men on special teams. He is also just turning 28. This isn't a Bradie James signing hoping somethings left in the tank. This dude should ball hard next to Cush.
