lol Apologies then.

ILB Joe Mays said he chose the Texans over five other teams and it was an easy decision. http://t.co/tB6sOpnd8I
— Mark Berman (@MarkBermanFox26) July 30, 2013
Like how it was that easy of a decision.
"He said it was water under the bridge," Mays said. "For him to be such a great guy like that, it's pretty cool. "So now we can just put that past us and go out and win this ring." nice.
They waived him due to Ryan Klady's contract. His cap hit of 3.5mil was pushing them over after that, so they were forced to make a decision. He had also put himself in the dog house mid season and then once he broke his leg/ankle and was IR'd it was pretty much over then. Apparently the team and him both had bad tastes in their mouths and weren't going to workout to begin with.
He's a bone head that they couldn't control. I'm pretty sure with out team atmosphere and leadership he'll come around enough (if for only this season) to be more beneficial than detrimental to our overall success. He's pretty much got to learn how to make the smart tackle than to head hunt and look for the big play. If he can stop RB's in the gaps and blitz he'll be perfect for our MO LB. I'm pretty sure Cush will go back to being the Mike seeing how he is our most versatile and intelligent LB on the team.

No secret what the #Texans want from Joe Mays. Get the feeling Week 1 next to Cushing is the plan.
— PDS (@PatDStat) July 31, 2013
From a pretty well known Texans blogger/insider. If you're unaware of his website you should check it out. http://www.stateofthetexans.com/ Gives a lot of great information and has some great interviews with players. And if you're still unclear as to Mays becoming a starter. All the Moe LB does is take on RB's and Blitz. Suits his skill set completely. He's far better at both than either Sharpton/Dobbins. Dobbins is a terrific special teamer and in short yardage situations, but when it comes to every down plays you can't say he's a starter with how bad our ILB played last year. On top of that, Sharpton will only make spot starts due to fatigue injury. He'll be gone after this season. He has no future with this team.
He'll start, Sharpton will back him up, Dobbins is Cushings back up. Cameron Collins will rotate and I'm sure after cut we'll sign one more guy
Seriously?! I listened for a little while today. They hardly ever talk about SPORTS!!! Josh Mcginnis is a total idiot.
