Wtf, I opened the thread and i thought @LosPollosHermanos created this one not @Zboy didnt see this one coming. P.s. a future superstar in the making.
More like you zealots hyped him up so we got annoyed. You used to vindicate your normally horrible basketball takes.
Best play was the dunk... not necessarily for the actual dunk, but rather for not just chucking a contested 3 but changing it up and taking it in for the high % bucket! We were one of the worst team for pitp this year - tonight was our second highest pitp game this season - thats will be the key to our success! Shooting a high number of 3s is fine - but you gotta have the threat of putting it on the floor and driving - thats one of the reasons Harden is so successful...
now now... lets be honest about who fired the first shots... Everybody liked House... All of House's NBA time from his cheap 2 way got used up... and House wouldnt sign a peanuts 3 year min contract... so some people got butthurt and started ragging on him.. while others respected his decision and supported him... Granted some of those supporters may not have been very gracious when he returned and resumed contributing... but so far... its looking like the correct take... ...jus sayin... and c'mon...we still have guys on a Rockets forum calling him trash... whats up with that....?
Yup, smart play since he had hit 2 in a row before that so the defense was expecting him to hoist it up again. Ariza would’ve shot the 3 and bricked since he never makes 3 in a row and he can’t drive. Mahbooty would’ve gotten to the rim and missed the layup. Bonus when Danuel makes a nice play.... we get to see Hartenstein making a house cheer with his arms.
Well I donno about those guys, but for me,I have never complained about the man wanting his money. What I havea problem with is that people think hes better than Gordon or Tucker, like its ridiculous, they put up unfair expectations of him. They are also the same people who rag on Cp/Gordon/Tucker but are quiet when they have a good game.
See this. what garbage this is. @kjayp I still do not believe House is better than Ariza imo or Luc. I love House and hes been great so far but thats just what I think. And even if I did he was better, I wouldnt disrespect our former players like this dude is right now.
He had 1 foul in 25 mins and a +21 I dont think thats that far outta line... I'd rather have House than Ariza or Luc right now - and more so going forward....Ariza shot .399 & .344 this season (.412 and .368 last year with Rox) - House shot .468 & .416 - and Luc played 4 games all season this year... I wouldnt put House ahead of any of our starting 5... but I put him on par with anybody coming off the bench - and I believe he has a higher ceiling than any of the non starters as he is still developing... He looked nervous to start the game but settled down and finished strong... Personally, I think its outta line when people compare Harden to Hakeem - until we get a ring or two - thats just blasphemy... lol
This. As great as Harden is, and I've been saying he was already the 2nd best Rockets ever over two years ago, he can't be compared with Hakeem, YET. What Harden has done this season is historically great. What Hakeem did in '94 and '95 is playoff stuff of legends. Let us remember that before the Astros championship a couple of years ago, Hakeem and Co. put Houston on the map irt major sports championships. Before Harden's time is over here, I hope he is able to win at least one, and then we can start comparing those two. I hope it happens because Harden deserves a ring.
It is. House will never be the defener Luc will be when he wasnt injured. Luc was a better player than both when he wasnt injured(which is what i refer to). Ariza is also a much better defender than House and hes better on the boards and hit big shots for us in the play offs. I guess this part is fair.
You can see he was a 'star' growing up, used to take pressure on his back, not affraid to make decisions. He is huge
I don't think he's going to play his way off the Rockets. I think Harden is going to be in Til's ear to re-up this dude.
Most teams dont know him good and think he is kind of scrub and then he drops 4 threepointers and when they close out he dunks that ****. Its demoralizing for sure
