From your lips to God's ear. Also, we need to find a way to keep Rivers and Faried, especially the Manimal.
Give Faried his due as well, both players had a significant impact on the game. This is very encouraging going forward.
Great to get a playoff game under his belt. He was nervous and self-conscious to start, but I love how he recognized that his shot is not falling so he started mixing it up by attacking the rim + never relented on defense. He has to understand that that's his unique selling point. He's not a better defender than Ariza or Moute were, and he's not significantly better than Ariza on 3's, but what he does way better than both those guys is attack the rim. Keep the defense on its toes, and give us some more offensive flexibility. I bet he has a good Game 2 and then another test when we're in Salt Lake City. That arena might rattle him, let's see how he reacts.
He played great. He answered my question at halftime whether he would EVER make another shot. I’m fine with him leaving and getting paid in the summer as long as he continues to contribute in the playoffs en route to a ring.
If Harden can get Adidas to pay his barber a sizable salary I'm sure he can get House a 7 figure shoe deal without issue.
He surprised me with his poise and confidence after the initial nerves. He showed that he can hurt the Jazz. Go House! Go Houston Rockets!
Lots of guys have been clamoring for Faried. His energy, power and strength is infectious, despite his defensive shortcomings. I'm glad he drained that three in the Jazz's face. Go Faried! Go Houston Rockets!
HA, you ask Dantoni who he would rather have had on this squad and I guarantee you he drops House like a sack of crap. Healthy Luc is a much more impactful player. Ariza doesnt get rattled like House does and lets see him hit that shot in Game 4 and play that defense in the GS series(though I hope that happens). Either way, you guys have a complete lack of respect for dudes who helped give us a 65 win season and what should have been a championship.
It would have been nice hypothetically speaking for Ariza and Luc to mentor House. I have lots of respect for both of our ex-veterans. It's nice to see House showing genuine promise in his very first playoff game.
