Fox News is now saying he has struck a plea deal. NY Post says so too: https://nypost.com/2018/08/21/michael-cohen-strikes-plea-deal-with-federal-prosecutors/.
What I don't see in the Cohen plea deal is anything related to lobbying with registering as a lobbyist or taking bribes. Is that in there anywhere? Because it seems to me that there were several companies paying him millions of dollars so he could use his personal relationship with the president to get them favorable treatment from federal agencies. It looks like corruption to me. And, I would like to see prosecutions for the companies in question considered, at least. And a guilty plea from Cohen that admits that he was peddling influence would make bringing justice against those companies easier.
They need more on Trump than just the payment to Stormy and the other lady. The campaign finance laws have gaping holes that might be difficult to get Trump with. Also, if committing perjury over some cigar play in the oval office didn't get Clinton removed from office I don't think hush money to keep one of Trump's side pieces quiet will get him out either.
it’s deja vu all over again. In the mid-70s, for the Watergate break-in, the US Gov’t indicted 12 of Nixon’s top aides, and an unnamed co-conspirator
**** getting real for the dotard... That's a tweet by Lanny Davis, who by the way, is Cohen's lawyer.
Cohen's lawyer is saying publicly that his client is willing to talk truthfully to all comers. Michael Cohen's lawyer launched a GoFundMe to help him 'tell the truth about Donald Trump,' and it raised $10,000 in less than half an hour
LOL... seems like it was only yesterday: Trump: Michael Cohen will never flip on me https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-michael-cohen-will-never-flip-143516069.html
