[Video] Harden demands ball. Selfish/Petulant? Did Paul misread the play?

Don't get me wrong. I love Harden and think he's a generational talent. He just has these moments where it seems like he's stat chasing.

 

the only stat he chases are wins

he literally needed to have an MVP performance every game last year for us be at that 3rd seed

LIke I said, it's moments. When we have a big lead, he does tend to stat chase, which I don't necessarily mind. I just didn't like his body language in the play that the OP highlighted.

 

Never once did I say I'm a fan of Stephen A. You just made that up outta thin air. Pretty impressive

 

yeah I don't really mind a superstar who plays like garbage in garbage minutes.. best way to fix it? sit the superstar during garbage time

Harden wasn't even asking for the ball. He saw how the defense was set up and was excited about a play he and CP can run. So jumping up and down out of excitement is undesireable "body landuage" now?

Harden stat chase?? If anything he always sits too early like the time he had 48 and CP3 tells him off on TV how you get 48 and not finish off 50.
Or the last game of November where he was 1 point away from averaging 35 and 10 for the month.

You want to how it plays out? Harden and CP3 said it in a interview a while back, we will get on eachothers back but we will get through it because it's coming from a good place. BTW, there is no divide between harden or cp3 supporters, it's a couple of lin fans like brewer goat here causing up trouble. besides them who is really up in arms?

 

He keeps getting voted as a top 10/15 player, and making All-star teams. So while I don’t think so, the NBA consensus seems to be yes that he is.

 

If CP3 and Harden are switched on that play, do we complain about CP3s body language?

 

I hope everything plays out the best way possible. My point was lets not act like CP's personality isn't the exact opposite of Harden's. Paul is super competitive and demanding on the court. Harden's laid back and careless at times, almost as if he's bored with playing. As Rocket fans we want the best but anything is possible. The 2 guys are like fire and water

 

Harden had a wide open three because the other defender on the pick was playing way too deep and Paul missed him. No big deal it happens.
