Whats with Billy Corgan and female bassists? I am deaf now....it was LOUD. They came on exactly at 9, played until 10:30, played two encores like they have at their other shows. That "Jesus, I" song and "Mary Star.." song were really cool, very SP like. Otherwise they are definitely like SP on Prozac. There were some folks standing next to me near the stage with a green sign. They finally held it up and it said: MEDICAL STUDENTS LOVE ZWAN Who the hell thought that was a good idea for a sign? Man I was laughing at it. No they didnt play any Smashing Pumpkins, but I didnt think they would.
Yea, mateo, I was wondering the same thing when I saw Zwan on SNL. Paz Lechantin (sp?) was wearing these really short, short shorts with yellow heels!! You had D'Arcy, even Melissa Auf Der Mar (or something like that) who played bass on the last SP tour, and now Paz. Maybe Billy has some kind of female bassist fetish.
She was wearing the same shorts last night. Easy to notice cause she spent a lot of time facing Jimmy Chamberlain and shaking her ass at the crowd while she thumped the bass.
Mateo, you're killing me! I actually had tickets to the show last night but I couldn't go. Damn taxes I really wanted to see Paz's ass....er, Jimmy Chamberlain one of my favorite rock drummers. Have you watched the DVD that comes with the CD? Paz has some interesting tounge talents. She's also a classically trained violinist.
