there is drag and drop yes many people are pissed off about the lack of foreign support but i am sure MS will look into that as i'm sure they are many chinese, russian, ect who wants a zune and MS is losing a lot of money over this. still, archos > all
I've been using my PC with Windows and iTunes since I bought my first iPod. We have 3 in the house right now. Works beautifully.
I got one but haven't played with it yet... I've had a Sansa 200 series forever...Still use it at the gym...I wanted something better for when I travel...I have to admit I didn't do any research, but I hope its easy to use...I like dragging my music from Windows MP on my Sansa, so I hope its as easy...
The Zune 80gb is hard as hell to find now... they're selling out everywhere. I managed to grab one from Target. I like the interface and it's been pretty solid so far. The doodoo brown Zune is the #1 mp3 player selling on Amazon.com at the moment - they probably had a pricecut on it. For those of you with the 30gig versions of the Zune, you can update the software to the latest version that the Zune 80gb uses. Can't help you with the foreign language version issue or the drag and drop issue, though, since I don't use either.
Thanks, but my problem is that it doesn't organize it into the folders which you can drag and drop. Most of my music are organized so that I can go into different stuff depending on my mood. Punk, Hip-Pop, asian pop, indie, new-wave, happy music, angry music, etc. With windows media player and all the other mp3 players that uses it sync, even if you can't physically drag and drop the folders to the device, you can drag them to the a playlist. You can't do that with the Zune which means I will have to manually re-organize my music collection within it's software. Pretty freaking lame especially the only other major MP3 player besides IPOD that doesn't work with Windows Media Player playlists is another M$ product. As I've said I have thousands of music and it's just a pain to have to re-organize.
Check out Creative products. I got the Vision M 30 GB player last year and love it. Easy to use and transfer files. LINK
So I toyed around with the Zune and visited forums, apparently the new Zune software (what came with my Zune) is horrible. I just found something else I dislike about it..... If you remove songs from the collections tab within the Zune software; the next time you plug in the Zune, it will auto sync and auto delete the songs from your device and this auto syncing not an optional thing. I kow the Zune is selling like hot cakes these days but if you are thinking of getting one, my advice is to stay far far away. http://forums.zune.net/38305/ShowPost.aspx
I did too, so when remove something from your collection, it doesn't delete it from your device? What am I doing wrong Also when I say auto, I do still have to manually hit the sync button when I want to add music to the Zune, it's just that after the new music's added, it'll delete the older ones that are no longer in the Zune collection software.
