I was enjoying the post until you laid an egg at the end... Lee Atwater: Haley Barbour: And during our current administration, Rove has essentially been the head of the Repub Party campaign effort. South Carolina ring a bell? Of course, then there's Ken Mehlman... odious mouthpiece for all things Bush, but he did say this... Still, it's had little effect on the actual campaign decisions made by Repubs.
Also, take a look here... http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/national.html There's a lot of blue on the winner's side.
Yes, and in these cases, the candidates choose to use those names. In your case, you choose to use it despite no one else doing so. Why is that exactly? To appeal to subtle racism, of course. You know it, I know it, and everyone else knows it. Making lame excuses for it just makes it even more apparent. You're playing the race/religion card you claim to hate so much. How pathetically sad, but not surprising at all.
Zogby Interactive They claim a great track record with this kind of polling. It's not just a poll on a website.
Well, can't speak for others, but I have been consistent in referring to Democratic candidates by their middle + last names. FORBES KERRY HUSSEIN OBAMA
Here's the relevant part of Zogby's press release from your link... A Wall Street Journal analysis of the polling after the election sees things a bit differently... And again, no other poll has similar results. From http://www.pollster.com/blogs/zogby_internet_poll_trial_heat.php So, perhaps Hillary is losing support, but to say she lost that much that fast is a reach, particularly when the evidence is provided by an outlier poll based on new polling ideas that has had questionable results in the past.
By the way, you only have a little more than a week to your deadline of telling us who you're supporting.
No, actually I don't. I have chosen a candidate, and my inner circle of political associates have been apprised. This is a very ELITE group of people, of which you are not a part.
But your opinion carries so much weight, it'd be a shame not to use it to influence people outside your inner circle.
1. He has a plan to get troops out of Iraq, and put an end to the war. 2. He has plan to provide health care to all that want it, but not force anyone to use it if they have a better health care plans already. 3. Has shown leadership, and new vision as far as leadership which is currently lacking. Those three are just starters.
What's going on with all you big, strong Republicans? basso's too scared to tell us whether he supports or opposes torture, you're too scared to say which of the losers running on the GOP side you favor. Why should we trust a party of scaredy cats to keep our nation secure?
i think that is the reason why bigtexx 'returned' to the bbs. i imagine its confusing trying to juggle two monikers.
This I must concede I am not incredibly hopeful that people would rise above their own prejudice and voted for him. Winning elections has NOTHING to do with Qualifications IMO it is all about IMAGE Can you PROJECT that you are Qualified? can You LOOK like you Qualified? Can you SEEM like someone they want to follow? IMO GWB is a prime example of style and rhetoric over substance With Obama He has to have both to win I think . . . I dunno if he has effectively shown it to enough people .. . . [Even me .. i just know he cannot be worse than GWB] Rocket River
What are you talking about? Neither of those guys engages in debate, they call names, throw around false claims, and refuse to answer even the simplest questions posed to them. That is not debate, that is demagoguery.
