    I agree.. alot of the younger generation I have been meeting dont seem to bring that kind of stuff up anymore.

    and actually most of my Taiwan friends seem to have a great affinity towards the Japanese.. really into their music/clothes/women.

    I think some people are just racist and cant let go of hate no matter how long ago.

    I agree that most of the younger generation of Asians don't have much of a problem with Japanese. In Singapore I hung out with Japanese, Europeans in addition to local Chinese and Malay Singaporeans and there didn't seem to be any animosity towards the Japanese, same thing in Hong Kong. I think that most Asians still don't trust the Japanese government and wish they would own up to what they did in WWII but are OK with Japanese people in general.
