What I find most comical about you, basso, etc... - why do you guys dismiss the assessment of third party analysis - even those from Republican thinkers - that fly in the face of what you are writing???

I mean, it's obvious you guys are aware of the facts - such as that the stimulus actually saved millions of jobs. So the question is...are you blind in your thinking or are you putting up a fight because you don't care about the truth and just want a Republican in office because that's the team you root for?

For me, that is the only curiosity remaining when it comes to the right winger here.

According to non-partisan economists and the CBO - it is fact. 3.5 million jobs in FACT. In FACT, there are more private sector jobs today than there was when Obama took over - that is a FACT.

The FACT is, Europe took the Austerity route and Britain had a double dip recession. Germany - Europes best performing country - had the least amount of austerity and most stimulus. Italy, Greece, Spain - has the most austerity and the least stimulus.

So yes, the FACTS are there - and they tell a story you choose to IGNORE. Or you are BLIND. You can choose to remain ignorant, but don't tell me about FACTS until you go and learn some.

Obama's mouthpiece said it was going to bring unemployment way down. It didn't. So he failed.

No, a fact is provable. You can't prove the stimulus created net positive jobs relative to no stimulus (because it probably didn't). Therefore, not a 'fact'. It's a guess.

Too bad there are more people in America then when Obama took over. Do you understand that unemployment is higher and what that means? Obama's economy can't keep up with population growth. This is a problem.

Way down over what time period? Isn't 10.1% to 8.3% a significant drop? Unless you are going to try to convince us that Obama's policies starting in 2/2009 drove the unemployment up to 10.1% by 10/2009. That would be the work of someone with a woeful understanding of policy development-to-implementation-to-impact lifecycles.

 

Obama promised that his stimulus would create or save 3.5 million jobs....even releasing a graphic illustrating how his stimulus would keep unemployment below 8%.

However, since the stimulus was passed, unemployment has been above 8% for 35 straight months and the nation has lost over a million jobs.
