VERY interesting movie!!! Question is, who is the person or people responsible for making it and what is thier agenda? Also, I admit I'm bad when it comes to history especially ex-presidents, but did all the presidents he mentioned as having involvement in everything Republican? There was just a ton about the Bush family and was curious. The only good I that was mentioned from any presidency was from Kennedy which I believe was Democratic, right?
Also, is that really true about taxes? It's hard to believe there is absolutely no constitutional right that the goverment can make us pay them. Certainly a wake up call if true.
Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution... The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
I haven't seen it all, just about half. I'm not a Christian, but I thought the religion thing was just a bunch of Atheists reaching to prove a point. As far as the 911 goes, that's old news.. seen it from other documentaries like "Loose Change" and such. But again, I don't know how old this vid is..
Breaking News Oil behind Iraq war: Nelson Thursday Jul 5 09:20 AEST An Australian soldier in Iraq (Defence Department) The government has admitted the need to secure oil supplies is a factor in Australia's continued military involvement in Iraq. Defence Minister Brendan Nelson said on Thursday oil was a factor in Australia's contribution to the unpopular war, as "energy security" and stability in the Middle East would be crucial to the nation's future. Speaking ahead of a key foreign policy speech by Prime Minister John Howard, Dr Nelson said defence was about protecting the economy as well as physical security, and it was important to support the "prestige" of the US and UK. "The defence update we're releasing today sets out many priorities for Australia's defence and security, and resource security is one of them," he told ABC radio. "The entire (Middle East) region is an important supplier of energy, oil in particular, to the rest of the world. "Australians and all of us need to think well what would happen if there were a premature withdrawal from Iraq?" Dr Nelson said the primary reason for Australian troops remaining in Iraq was to prevent violence between the Sunni and Shia population, and to bring stability to the region. "We're also there to support our key ally - that's the United States of America - and we're there to ensure that we don't have terrorism driven from Iraq which would destabilise our own region," he said. "For all of those reasons, one of which is energy security, it's extremely important that Australia take the view that it's in our interests ... to make sure we leave the Middle East and leave Iraq in particular in a position of sustainable security." Isolationism would not make Australia safer, he said. When Australia joined the US-led invasion force of Iraq in 2003, the government said it was primarily because Iraq had weapons of mass destruction that could pose a threat to the US and its allies. Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd will outline a section of Labor's foreign policy today in a speech in Sydney. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=66484
OK I just saw it till the end.. the second half is definitely better than the first half. The religion stuff just doesn't really matter compared to the second half. It's a scary thought if it were true. So I'm basically doing the gov't a favor by getting a D in my gov't class on my first semester of college. All that stuff about the war is just mind bottling.
Wow, I really don't know what to say or think. I feel that EVERYONE should see this and make their own opinion. I know I for one am going to email this to all of my friends. If what they say is true, what can we do? I mean really what can we do? Some kind of V revolution, protests, letters. Definitely opened my eyes. Wow
The one thing that stands out the most is the 9/11 conspiracy. I didn't know what to believe at first and now I think thats the most logical answer.
There's a lot of that documentary to think about. I wouldn't even guess on which is outrageously true, but after viewing consipracy theories like these, I'd question what my personal freedom is worth to me. I mentioned this documentary before in another thread. The Power of Nightmares
Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution... No capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or Enumeration herein before directed to be taken. This is what was changed by the 16th Amendment. As I'm sure you know, our income tax is a direct tax.
The income tax was not constitutional until the 16th amendment. There is alot of credible work out there showing the 16th amendment was illegally ratified. Whether it was illegally ratified doesn't matter the income tax should be eliminated. We don't need an income tax because we borrow all the money we spend. But you better be careful and not fall prey to people who will tell you not to pay the income tax. There have been several very brilliant men who have gone to court and won against the IRS and don't pay any income tax. But the vast majority of people cannot fight the IRS- if you do not pay, you will more than likely lose. So do what Jesus said, give to Caesar what he wants and give to God what He wants.
Well if you knew me you would know I wasn't impressed with the religious part, And the 9-11 part is worth seeing, no doubt our govt. was behind 9-11 but there is nothing that can be done about that. it is too late now.
Wow, alot of interesting stuff the movie touched on. The first part about religion should probably just be left out or made in its on thing since they never tied together how religion was working with financial institutions.
I was wondering about the Kennedy speech. I've read a lot of conspiracy stuff and never heard that quote. It sounded like he was talking about a shadow government conspiracy. However they left out the last line of the paragraph which puts everything into context. The speech was delivered 10 days after the bay of pigs. He is obviously talking about communism, not a shadow government. This makes me wonder what else is a lie or distortion.
Interesting movie but if you check the sources listed some things in the movie must be taken with a grain of salt.
agree, this is the trouble with conspiracy stuff, the truths are not easily verifiable on specific things like a speach or quote. I love reading conspiracy stuff as a hobby. But to be honest I don't think it has much worth with regards to real life. I certainly don't think about it, unless I want to read something other than the Bible or a children's book. I got hooked on it after reading the book, Crossing the Rubicon by Michael Ruppert. Great book.
It is a great book. There are excerpts from the book, as well as video clips of Ruppert speaking in this movie.
