He has a point. People will say "Bowen was known for this." well not really.

I've never seen a guy do it so blatantly before, with Bowen it usually looked like a hard close out. Zaza literally closed out once...then took ANOTHER step forward then slid...no way it wasn't intentional. No one closes out on a shooter like that unless they are trying to hurt them because it would be a 3 point foul.

Zaza, Kelly Olynyk, Draymond Green. What do they all have in common? The play with heart like the game means something to them. Not surprisingly, their teams are still in the playoffs.

There are players that play with heart whose teams never make the playoffs. Beverly plays with heart. That has nothing to do with being a dirty player.

Won't do it but Spurs could retaliate by doing it to Curry and his fragile ankles.

Wow. So a team who benefits from bad officiating is beating a team who benefits from bad officiating. Such story. Such scandal. Such interesting.

    Go Warriors Go?

I don't know how to feel.

Where is the video of Pops raging against Bruce Bowen?

Like I said earlier, karma and well deserved.

There was finally a legitimate opponent for the warriors and this fool zaza screws it all up. No reason to even watch this series now. These playoffs for the most part have been horrible, guess I'll just have to wait till the finals for a great series.

I agree, and at least Bruce Bowen have the benefit of doing it before the rule change. I remember guys like bowing , rondo and Fisher would step right a player you when they took a jumpshot, a small step, and sometimes their foot landed on theirs and they rolled it.

the rule change his specific. it's to protect the player taking the jumpshot, and Zaza blatantly steps under the jump shooter who just happens to be the other teams best player. If this happened to the Rockets I would be upset especially if James Harden had a history with the ankle injury recently.

Zaza is a piece of ****. I hate his ass almost as much as I hate Mejri. Dude is just trying to prove himself worthy of being on that super team.

Bowen would lunge his foot forward or sideways in a highly visible way, even at full replay speed. He did it while still facing the shooter and while the shooter was still well in the air. He placed it so that the shooter could land right on top of Bowen's foot, maximizing the chance of contact. Bowen's move is extremely blatant. Just watch his move on Vince Carter which someone posted earlier. It's just laughable to claim it "looked like a hard close out." And there are lots of videos showing him doing this same move.

To say that Pachulia's move is as blatant or more blatant is simply not objective. Pachulia's move could easily be explained as his standard boxing out move. His eyes are completely following the ball, he is turning around as fast as possible, moves his feet to either gather himself and/or to widen his stance to block out. It plausibly could be completely accidental. It's just as likely he steps to the side to block out as it is that he did it to cause injury.

Now I'm not saying that is was definitely NOT intentional. But I'm just not yet 100% convinced it was. If I had to bet my life on it, I wouldn't feel confident betting on it either way.

Even if you think Pachulia did it intentionally, to say that it was MORE blatant as what Bowen did (say with Vince Carter) defies common sense and such a statement simply has no credibility. Saying, "I've never seen a guy do it so blatantly before, with Bowen it usually looked like a hard close out." is a statement that I have a hard time considering as a sincere or serious one.
