The Troops as a whole? Never. Their leaders, and those troops that bring dishonor on our soldiers as a whole, definitely.

General Assface on Fox News has been telling me that the insurgency has been dying every other week.

Once again the liberals refuse to believe any good news and attempt to minimize its importance. Is this patriotism? These people are hell bent on only reporting bad news and covering their ears and refusing to acknowledge any good news. Good news simply can not exist in their minds. They hate it. This is utterly shameful when you consider that US troops are putting their lives on the line for everyone's benefit.

I highly doubt the mothers and fathers of our troops would be proud of people minimizing their children's efforts in the War on Terror.

I highly doubt the mothers and fathers of our troops would be proud of people sacrificing their children's lives for oil.

Personal insults should surely be limited.

I, for one, doubt that any member of Congress believe so strongly in the war that they themselves would take up arms and fight in Iraq. That should be a test for whether or not we should go to war. Anyone who votes for war should be willing to go to war themselves. How many members of Congress have sons or daughters directly in the line of fire, I wonder? Very few I bet.

They believed strongly enough to vote for the war. Heck, even John Kerry voted for it (before he voted against it).

I disagree. I have a THX-ready home system and it is much better when it is full surround (front and behind) as opposed to just in front. I don't know if you were just trying to trick him becuase he is in high school, but anyone should know that.

Now I feel like going to Iraq to kill some brave soldiers. Man, I hate those guys.

Even to joke about something like that is in incredibly poor taste.

Yeah, I am such a bad guy. What if I just kill their children while they are away? That way thee will not be another generation of brave soldiers.

No, Kerry was fool enough to believe our president. Look at the President's statement before the war...

    http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/archive/2004/09/23/KERRY.TMP
Yet in the fall of 2002, several months before the air strikes on Baghdad began, Bush himself insisted the vote was not the same as a declaration of war but instead gave him the hand he needed to negotiate the peace.

"If you want to keep the peace, you've got to have the authorization to use force,'' Bush said in September 2002. "It's a chance for Congress to say, 'we support the administration's ability to keep the peace.' That's what this is all about.''

Someone flip flopped on Iraq but it wasn't Kerry. I don't recall Bush using congress authorization to keep the peace.

And that, my friend, is the greatest sin of all...

Others may say they want authorization for troops to keep the peace, and then march to war. They may say we are going to war for WMD's and then not have any WMD's present. They may lie about a nuclear threat from an enemy and then use that lie to march off to war and cause death, torture, and terrorism, but at least they aren't French.
