Z-Bo is better than Scola, but Z-bo also makes almost twice as much as Scola. Is he twice as good as Scola? Of course not, so I'd rather have Scola and pay somebody else 17M a year.
As i said 4-5 yrs ago, Randolph is a top 3 or 4 low post player in the league. When u talk of scoring on the blks, he and jefferson are a load. Those 6'9-6'10 guys with long arms are very hard to deal with. Even chuck says his 2 toughest matchups are jefferson and randolph. I like scola and he's a good player, but zach has always been a beeter player. Early on he had maturity issues, but he was hard to stop then. Some of these guys come in and have trouble with the nba life moreso than anything else.Give credit to memphis for getting him cheaply and surrounding him with high character young guys and a hard ass like hollins.
He can't. I wish the OP would have made this a public poll so we could ridicule those that actually believe Scola is comparable to Zach.
Pretty obvious now. If Scola even dreamt about attempting some of the cold blooded, dagger shots that Randolph has sank over the last few weeks, he would wake up with a sprained ankle and severe feeling on envy. A year ago I might have said otherwise, but I would have been dead wrong.
