One article a while back ranked coaches, and rightfully, all the rookie coaches were all ranked the lowest.

Then you look at COY predictions on ESPN and multiple "experts" have Kerr as their pick.

    It's ridiculous.

The 4 teams that are being ridiculously over-hyped right now:
    #1 Mavs
    #2 Bulls
    #3 Golden State
    #4 Memphis

What do you base that on?

Because I would disagree entirely. There are only 4 West teams who DO have a chance at a ring (Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, Rockets). The other teams have 'fatal' weaknesses in their major parts. The Rockets major parts complement each other, and have the 'right' role players, and have improved over last season.

It just isn't seen yet, but when we're 20 games in, people might be sitting back going 'wow, Rockets overachieving' - but that would only be because they didn't think through things clearly enough before the season started.

Sure, the whiff on Bosh was sad. But he probably made us championship favourites. We're down from that, still 4th in the West, but with better balance on the squad.
Laugh at me now. But I don't think you'll be laughing later!

I don't see that there should be any difference between Bloodbath I and Bloobathbath II.

Anytime you have two of the best players at their respective positions, you have a chance
to win it all. It is all about gelling and catching fire at the right time.

I am laughing at you..pretty hard right now..of course you're entitled to our opinion, but in my opinion the rockets will be closer to not making the playoffs, then winning a championship.

Aside from disagreeing on being below the Warriors and Grizzlies, this crap might be the most overblown made up non-story by the media:

The only annoying part about his 5 day transition was the Ramona Shelbornes of the world throwing out misinformation at every opportunity to create drama.

Yao and T-Mac just couldn't stay healthy and you can thank Jimmy Kimmel for that.

Between the post you are quoting and the post that you made I don't know what to believe.

The rockets starting 5 is very strong in my opinion. But the bench is weak as far as I can see. Makes it interesting I suppose haha

The bench might be weak. We don't know, because many of them haven't had significant burn on an NBA court yet.

Papanikolaou might not be terrible as a backup 3.
Garcia is an NBA vet, who will do what he always does as a 2/3
Canaan is unproven, and yet looks promising in our backup PG/ scorer role.
The backup bigs are the scariest part - but Black will hustle, Dorsey protect the ring, and Motie might not fall over his own feet. They only need to give us 20minutes a game between them.... [less is Papa plays smallball 4 for 5-6 minutes]
    Daniels can shoot
Terry is good for a 2 minute scoring stint every few games.

4th tier isn't counted out? What is the point of having tiers.

Have people giving the rockets any chance at all of missing the playoffs ever watched basketball?

If you have James Harden and Dwight Howard on your team you're making the playoffs.

Garbage article. The Clippers as championship contenders? LOL. How long is the media gonna keep giving them credit when they haven't done anything?

The Bulls? Come on. At this point you have to count them, and Rose, out until they prove otherwise.
