    And yet in his last 2 podcasts he has picked Houston as his pick to win the title. Calling McHale an underrated coach and our depth insane. Has some concerns about Dmo and Dwight, but that's his pick.

    His guest(Kevin A.) today picked OKC, but when Lowe said The Rockets he had nothing but great things to say about Houston. LOVES Capela and couldn't believe we got Lawson in his words "for free"!!!!

    Really who cares.
    I like Drex, Bill and Bullard. Sure they're biased - but which home commentators aren't. That's why I choose to listed to them to get details about the Rockets, not the other team.
    Regarding Harden - I say he's jealous.
    Biggest offence I took was about our uniform and stadium. I've been lucky enough to have been to a few NBA stadiums (given I'm from Australia) and the Toyota Center I think is excellent. Uniform was actually 1 of the reasons I started following the Rockets.
    Haters gonna hate! Let's just get to the season proper already.

    WOW...yeah let's call the best basketball journalist who gives the most well thought-out objective and impartial analysis an ******* and an idiot just because he put the Rockets low in a league pass guide FOR NEUTRAL FANS. wow :rolleyes:

    That sentiment sounds like Zach Lowe is a regular NBA fan watching certain Rockets games against the Houston Rockets.

    He himself is a biased reporter in that sense.

    Yeah, the funniest thing about this whole thread is the Lowe has been on the Rockets bandwagon this summer, and one of the few people who really saw how big the Lawson pickup was.

    But he says something bad about our announcers, a group that includes Clyde which let’s face it, none of us can stand, and the consensus here is that Lowe knows nothing about basketball.

    Honestly if that’s the typical Rockets fan reaction to any journalist, I would not blame them for being anti-Rockets all the time. Really make our fans look like asses.

    I'm glad he complimented Bull Bill & Clyde's basketball knowledge. They (with the exception of Clyde) can often give good insights... Though they complain about the refs because they love the Rockets. I'm okay with that.

    I like Lowe but his "watchability" posts are obnoxious, sort of like Bill Simmons' random diatribes. The free throws really aren't that bad, honestly I just tune out if it's not a big game and go do something else for a minute.

    Yeah I usually have my laptop open during rockets games. Those free throw parades make for some boring TV.

    And Zach Lowe is awesome.

    To some extent true. Offensively it's just the James Harden Show, and between Harden and Howard a good part of the game is free throw shooting. Worrell and Clyde DO have their biases...not just in terms of the team (which is expected) but with regards to individual players. Still, the Rox are a heck of a team and I for one enjoy watching them.

    Clippers were most efficient offensive team last season. Better than GSW!!! And I am sure Zach is basing all this on previous season. We were never at full strength last year, winning games by small margins, making games hard to watch for an outsider. This year it might change, if we get to play without injuries and same time next year we'll be in top 10 of Zach's list.

    Love Zach Lowe^

    Regarding the trade, we have valuable non rotation players and we still need another big, preferably one who can rebound and stretch the floor. The guy that continually comes to mind for me is Ryan Anderson.

    New Orleans is in desperatation mode for rotation players due to all the injuries. They have an expiring Ryan Anderson, who probably isn't in their long term plans, and we have a bunch of guys they might be interested in. However, since we have no trade filler and are up against the apron, its is extremely difficult to make a trade work.

    Hopefully the Grizzlies suck, maybe Randolph is that veteran PF we're looking for..

    The new article says we are a really good team. Last one says he doesn't like watching us. I wouldn't call that a flip flop, but I agree it is scrambled.
