Batum is an expensive version of Parsons. Don't see it happening. Parsons is a Rocket and will get paid as a Rocket.

 

I'd thow in some second rounders but in te New NBA you get fill holes with rookies and not vets. We need those picks.

 

I'm fairly sure brooks has a no trade clause, so I don't see him wanting to go to the blazers

 

Works fine for the Rockets and T-Wolves but the Blazers won't accept Asik + chump change for LMA. Throw in Parsons and maybe something could happen.

LMA is a much-coveted asset. IMO, Rockets can't make the best offer to the Blazers without including Parsons.

Blazers will not hesitate to keep LMA for his final 2 years unless he forces his way out of town.

True, but same could be said about how Asik and Parsons are to the Rockets.

In terms of trade value, Asik and Parsons are on the same "much-coveted" level with LMA. This may be a little homerism on my part. But I don't think it is too much exaggerated. My guess is that Morey would trade either Asik or Parsons (as center piece) for LMA but not both, unless we are getting significantly more than LMA out of the trade.
