if it was a cash cow why would he sell it? logic FTW the site has negligible value, the valuation would come from the domain name. you'd have to sit on it until yao won a championship or got super popular again then retool the site and relaunch it using the domain you bought it's called capitalism, someone with capital rolls the dice on something of lesser value going up in the future. why on earth would he sell you the site if he was making money? dont have a firm grasp on economics do you? dimebag? you into dudes? regardless of your orientation I wouldn't buy the domain for 10 cents. it's basically worthless. it's not like he's selling yaoming.com. calling a site mania is so 1999
My understanding of finance is pretty advanced, I dont need lectures. Sure if it was generating a profit, would would he sell it? Well he may have to as he stated in his email because he has no time to maintain the site. It has nothing to do with money in this case if he thinks he has something better to do. So whats wrong with someone offering to buy it if it at least broke even? WRONG they were never a serious competitor to this place. the name is banned because we kept having people coming here and spamming the site name when they were first starting. The reason why there is no competition is because this site is dedicated to HOUSTON ROCKETS fans, that place is a place for YAO MING fans. They only care for the Rockets in as much as Yao plays for them, they could not care less about the rest of the team if they tried. I find VERY funny the guy has such an over-inflated sense of what it is worth that he will take "5 figures" for it.....oh man...good luck with that....I doubt you can get 3 figures for it.

I could be wrong, but wasn't the whole *** (the very early one) also part of the reason that side was blocked? There were some serious polarization between old Rockets fans and new Yao fans at that time.
It’s absolutely a piece of depressing news. I’m upset so much. But I can do little to make it turn around. I really Appreciate it if some guys can save YMM. I love rockets as well as Yao.
