I know it's in jest, but Holic already backed that Yule C is a reference to Nerlens Noel somehow. I don't see the correlation, but Houston may potentially trade for Noel. Codman has hinted at trading for Young Footwork in Philadelphia (Jah), but that's perhaps enough for Holic to run with Noel instead. Not just that, but Holic also said that in order to get Noel then Houston will be looking to trade Capela elsewhere. Out of all his dumb claims this one seems like the most realistic one since Philly HAS to be looking to trade Jahlil Okafor and possibly Nerlens Noel. Before the season started I would have likely looked to trade for Noel, but now that Capela has made huge strides then I'm not sure anymore.
Noel and Okafor being available is widely known. Morey making trades during the season is also widely known. What some supposed insiders do is basically add one to another and, boom, insider newsletter material. I'm still waiting on when we're going to trade for that all-time great point guard in Minnesota that's shooting 34% from the field, 24% from the 3 point line, and under 80% at the free throw line so that he can alleviate James Harden from his point guard duties this year. Why have a Top 5 scorer and the leader in assists per game when you can have BOTH Harden and Rubio?
