If any of you go to Disneyland in California, at sunset you must to go the Coca-Cola Corner on Main Street and watch the piano players play. The best (a guy named Johnny) retired a year ago. So did their 2nd-best guy, Rod. But they got a new kid (Alan) who can play piano amazingly well. This is real Alan <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DZar71LRBQY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DZar71LRBQY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Another guy named Robert: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qlR84OuZHoQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qlR84OuZHoQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> And here's Johnny (he doesn't work at Disneyland any more - the was just there visiting) <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FB5N1kvwpcQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FB5N1kvwpcQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Rod: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nZFsmrnl8i0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nZFsmrnl8i0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> I fear that it's a dying art. Some people can grab a chord and strum. Some can really play a guitar well. Some people can play Heart and Soul or Chopsticks on a piano. Some can really play a piano well.
She has a nice voice and she's cute. I dig her sound and would buy her CD. In a normal world, I would never have even heard of her, so the marketing did what it was supposed to do.
Is that Jeff's band? I'm kidding.. I'm kidding! We all love your music! On a serious note.. what were those boys thinking when they formed that band?! The drummer was the only decent thing there and even he seemed amateurish.
No big deal...it's just a form of marketing. If people liked it, they shouldn't be mad that they were "tricked". It shouldn't change how you view her music.
