    Bird
    KG
    Grant Hill
    Webber
    LeBron
    Ray Allen
    Dennis Rodman
    Tim Duncan
    Dominque Wilkins

    Honorable Mentions:
Isiah Thomas, Reggie Miller, Nick Van Exel

I know big names like Shaq, MJ and Kobe aren't on my list - If I were to take a list of players who I would want to start on my team they would definitely be on there, but the above 10 were the guys I loved watching the most outside of the guys on the Rockets. Especially Magic and Bird - they are the second and third favorite players of mine of all time (behind Hakeem of course)

Nah, just kind of forgot about the no-Rockets rule in the middle of writing that post. Besides, I was thinking about Linsanity in New York.

At the start of that post I realised that I never liked any Rockets players besides Scola anyway, so after that I stopped paying attention to that rule.

Turns out I like two Rockets.

Realistic Draft Choices/Options for SDR/Houston Rockers (they've had):

    Spencer Haywood: [IMG]
Pete Maravich (We wouldn't have had Rudy T, though): [IMG]
    Mark Price:[IMG]
    Jojo White: [IMG]

    Bobby Jones
    Dennis Rodman
    Kawai Leonard
    Rashard Lewis
    Jeff Hornacek
    Byron Scott
    (tie) Maurice Cheeks, Jeff Malone

    HMs:
    Scott Skiles
    Andrei Kirlenko
    Rick Fox
    Richard Jefferson

Not including 84' draft players, because that means no Olajuwon.

    Fantasy ?

    1. Dr. J (73-86), no explanations needed.
    2. Magic Johnson, Showtime in H-Town.
    3. Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook, right now.

4a. Rasheed Wallace (96-08), Could you imagine a trio of T-Mac, Yao, and Sheed against the mid 00s West? If the organization, at least tried add a few talented pieces around them, they could've gotten out of the west a few times. Esp. with Sheed's intensity.
4b. Chris Webber, the bridge between Olajuwon years to the Yao years.

    6. Nique (82-96), if you can't have MJ, Glide, or Dr. J, who would've been another choice in those days?
    7. George McGinnis (72-80), the 70s Rockets.
    8. Mitch Richmond (91-98), on the championship Rocket squads would've been fantastic.
    9. LaMarcus Aldridge, the bridge between Yao years to Harden/Howard years.
    10. Joe Dumars

Players who actually played for the Rockets, but past their prime (or before their prime).
Clyde Drexler (84-98), spends his entire career in Houston.
Charles Barkley (84-00), Barkley and Olajuwon vs. the Lakers/Trailblazers/Supersonics.
Scottie Pippen (89-99), He would've been a great addition to the championship teams.
Jim Jackson (92-05), Shane Battier with scoring ability, but without some of those "lovable" intangibles and nerdy quirks.
Dikembe Mutombo (91-08), if we somehow didn't end up with Olajuwon or the 1st pick in 1984 draft. Sampson would've been traded and Houston would've been in the NBA graveyard.

Did Lin play for the Rockets? Don't recall ever seeing his name come up in the GARM.
