The only movie that didn't disappoint me and exceeded my expectations was Gone Baby Gone. It's really unfortunate that more people didn't watch it.

Michael Clayton was decent. Knocked Up and Superbad were meh. Spiderman was poorly edited.

I haven't been in a Blockbuster in years, so I don't know. It's definitely, definitely worth the trouble to find though. Fantastic movie.

Only watched like a dozen or so movies this year and didn't watch any of the "Best Picture" type movies:

    1. Live Free or Die Hard
    2. The Bourne Ultimatum
    3. Bender's Big Score (hey it's a movie)
    4. 300
    5. The Simpsons Movie
    6. 1408
    8. Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's End
    9. Order of the Phoenix
    10. Transformers (all the pretty graphics and Megan Foxes of the world couldn't have saved this film from Bay's terrible directing)

Conspicuously absent: Spiderman 3. Biggest. Disappointment. Ever.

Sam Riley, the actor playing Ian Curtis did a really good job.

Goodness, can't believe I forgot Michael Clayton. Just the scenes where Clooney was walking to the plane, or riding in the cab at the end, the guy is pure charisma.

My 2 favorite were Superbad and No Country for Old Men. I have no idea how to say I liked one better than the other, because they were so wildly different.

I know I saw more than 10 movies that came out this year but for the life of me, I can't remember more than 8 that I actually thought were any good (that's what happened when all you see for the most part are either chick flicks or kiddie movies) - anyway, here is my list:

    1) Stardust
    2) Dan in Real Life
    3) Why Did I Get Married?
    4) Blades of Glory
    5) The Simpsons Movie
    6) Knocked Up
    7) Spiderman 3
    8) Pirates of the Carribbean
    *-9) The Mist

I included The Mist which even though I didn't see it (yet), I know it would be in my list anyway.

    no particular order

    1) Superbad - i actually thought it was brilliant first hour, then kinda dropped off the second
    2) Knocked Up - just flat out hilarious
    3) Transformers - either you loved it or hated it, and I love Megan Fox :p
    4) Die Hard 4 - probably would appreciate it more if I saw this before Transformers
    5) Fantastic Four 2 - no love for this movie? ALOT better than the original, although I thought the end was dumb as hell
    6) Ocean's 13 - hell of a lot better than 12, glad they went back to Vegas, and adding Pacino was genius
    7) Reign Over Me - I agree with CCR, just a flat out awesome movie
    8) TMNT - no love for the Turtles? Absolutely loved it, when it came out, I was like 11 again
    9) Blades of Glory - Farrell/Heder, genius whoever thought of that cast
    10) Bourne Ultimatum - Matt Damon was just a badass in this movie

    disappointing
Spidey 3 - so much hype and all we got was emo spidey
Good Luck Chuck - Alba in a her undies, and they still screwed it up
Heartbreak Kid - Farrelly brothers are officially over, let Judd Apatow take over

    looking forward to
    I Am Legend
    Juno

Jason Bourne would kill any of these movies with a rolled up magazine.
