I picked Atlanta in my pick em league just because that is my favorite team but if I was not an Atlanta fan I would have picked New Orleans. I don't think we can hang with New Orleans in a shootout. Our best chance to win is long drives where we actually score TD's instread of FG's. Keep Brees and the boys off the field.

I guess.I just think it's funny how McNabb is always called out on that despite having very few offensive weapons for the majority of his career, he is currently tied for 14th in all time passer rating with Dan Marino and is ahead of Brett Favre.

Amazing that 11 of the people ahead of him are active, though Pennington/Garcia/Culpepper are all pretty much done as starters. Really shows how much football has changed.

Palmer is a lot like Schaub, when healthy they are arguably top 5 QBs, but that Bengals Defense is playing some damn good football, not to mention they suddenly found a running game. For that reason, I put Schaub higher than Palmer on my list.

And I think Derek Anderson might somehow be worse than Jamarcus Russell, but thats like arguing Manning/Brady at this point. You can't go wrong with either.

QB is very Dependant on the team. If sage was qb instead of shaub I doubt we are that much worse. look at kyle orton. Unless you have a manning or brady or brees I think they are somewhat interchangeable.

I think we would be a helluva lot worse with Sage at QB. Just look at what happened last season.

Kyle Orton is just managing a team with a good defense. Their offense was better last season with Cutler, but the defense was awful. That being said, Cutler is horribly overrated and the gap between those 2 is not very big.

After the colts game he was done, but before that their stats and wins were pretty even. I know shaub has taken it to another level, but as a receiving group the texans are pretty good.

Matt cassel was good last year now he is a scrub. I think qb's get too much credit. Unless you are peyton and you call your own plays I think the system really determines how good you can be.

    QFT.

90% of the time it is the system no doubt about it. Matt Cassel is the perfect example like you mentioned, you could throw in a guy like Orton and Chad Pennington before he was injured, not the best or most talented but still the system gave them their sucess

    I'm shocked by this.

Everybody knows how I feel about Vince as a QB, but even I would put him above those guys.

Save for maybe Delhomme, who is totally cratering this year.

uhh, read the NFL week(whatever) threads lately?

some folks here all but offered Mark Sanchez fellatio after 2-3 weeks. I really don't even know why they did back then. I'm not gonna say he's a bust, it's too early, but as I was saying in week 1.....I don't get any of the hype surrounding this kid, he is not good at all.

I also wish the Jets would find the right size uniform for him, because his outfit looks like it's about 2 sizes too big. Maybe that is just me.

So what does that have to do with Rhino's opinion of these guys vs. VY?

He's only played 1 week, his ranking will change as the season goes on

    Sanchez is ok.

He's dynamite in year 3 of my Madden Franchise. 52 TDs and 4900 yards so far, 5 games left.

I should probably up my difficulty level.

Sanchez has shown more than Stafford.

But then again Stafford is in a terrible situation and played yesterday without any decent offensive weapon to go to.

At any rate, I wouldn't call any of them bad QBs after a handful of games.

They have to suck for 2-3 years to really earn their suck stripes.

    Hype?

I ranked him 21st. He is with the group of all the other crappy quarterbacks, I put him first cause he is younger than the rest of those guys.

Vince has only played in 1 game, he needs to play more before I move him up.
