Know some people wanna be creative, but some guys just belong in this list and have changed the game for decades. Nas Eminem Now...have to say that Pac is really overrated, people come up with his lyrical songs(changes, heaven's got a ghetto,...) and act as it he was a poet. Majority of his songs were about violence, sex, etc. Also, I kinda consider him fake, went to dance classes, didn't have a tough life compared to other guys, but still acted like a thug. Also, his albums are mediocre. So we have Em and Nas as undisputable imo. My other three spots go to: Rakim Guru(rip, terribly underrated. brilliant wordplay and songs) Big Daddy Kane Honorable mentions: Scarface, Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, Big L, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Biggie
if you call tupac overrated you have to also call nas and eminem overrated em had 2 incredible albums, then he had one really good album, then he had three weak albums nas is good but when he came out there was far too many better than him to say he changed the game, at least he's still does some quality work
I think you're right. he either read the directions wrong or he's trolling. cause there ain't no way he serious about that top 5
Two incredible albums is better than Pac's resumé to me. I'd consider All Eyez On Me to be flawless. Me against the world and Don Killuminati were pretty good, but not in the same tier as Shady LP and MMLP. Em has a way better discography if you ask me, better skills/lyrics, wordplay,... Nas has one of the greatest albums of all-time in Illmatic and has been consistent for his whole career. Good amount of albums but nearly all high quality, unlike Pac's work.
