Not really a solid list but here's my top ten for 2012 movies. Still missing a lot of good movies this year that I haven't gotten the chance to see yet. Will be watching Cloud Atlas tonight. 1.The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey I have to admit the 48fps didn't bother me after I settle into the movie. Totally love the 48 frames because it tremendously enhanced the 3D and the motion without giving you a head ache. Solid story and adventure setting just like the the first 3. Only complain would be that the Hobbits and Dwarves kinda put you off just a bit because they sometimes seem to look like regular people in over size clothing so the proportion doesn't seamlessly blend together well at all. 2.Life Of Pi Only wished this was 48frames because the 3D and the beauty of this movie would have been tremendous. 3.Django Unchained Another solid over the top movie by Tarantino. Great soundtrack, dialogues and solid casts. 4.Looper Wished this had a larger budget. Solid time travel sci-fi but wished it didn't went Akira on us. 5.Prometheus Disappointing but still a solid sci-fi from Ridley Scott. A director's cut would enhanced this movie a bit more. This movie really needed that sequel. 6.The Avengers Best super hero movie this year but totally **** ass cheesy uniforms. 7.The Amazing Spider-Man I like Garfield takes on PP more than Toby Maguire and Emma Stone could either play Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy perfectly. 8.Skyfall Solid movie until the last terribly boring 30 mins. Casino Royale is a better movie because Skyfall misfired in the last 30 mins singing the boring farewell Q song. 9.The Dark Knight Rises Terrible actions, plenty of plot holes. 10.Dredd/John Carter/The Grey Enjoy it for what it is. Movies that didn't make the list: The Hunger Games Premium Rush Brave Parnorman Wrath Of The Titans The Cabin In The Woods
In no order, I'd say my favorites were: Django Moonrise Kingdom Argo Skyfall Avengers Hunger Games Dark Knight Promethius There were plenty that I wont include on the list like taken 2, wrath of titans, spiderman, and others that were bad. I haven't seen hobbit, life of pi yet. Django, Moonrise Kingdom, Argo were my fav of the year.

agreed, and it wasn't even close. The Watch????? You must have been high. My 10 in no order (have not seen Django or Life of Pi) Avengers Hunger Games TDKR Silver Linings Playbook Argo Skyfall Looper 21 Jump Street Prometheus Hobbit I hated The Master. Great performances, but just a weird movie that I really, really regretted seeing. Lincoln was good, I just didn't enjoy it as much as the others in my list.
No particular order Django Unchained Beasts of the Southern Wild Rust and Bone Holy Motors Cabin in the Woods Moonrise Kingdom Life of Pi Brave The Raid Pitch Perfect
No mention of Chronicle yet? I don't think I even saw 10 2012 movies but I'm sure this would be in my top 10. Avengers was amazing.
No particular order.... Dark Knight Rises Avengers Cabin in the Woods Argo Django Unchained Les Miserables Looper 21 Jump Street Ted Prometheus (Never got around to seeing The Hobbit, Silver Linings Playbook, or Perks of Being a Wallflower)
What is Argo about? Is it really that good? And Hunger Games to me wasn't all that. The book was way better.
