I don't think Horror icons should be considered Villain. You watch horror movies, especially slashers and icons like Jason and Freddy and whatnot to root for them. You pay to see them, they're the effects, the story, the hero or the villain.
I seriously hated Joaquin Phoenix's guts in this movie. You know he really did a good job in Gladiator when you still hate him in another movie even though he now plays a good guy/protagonist.
1. Roy Batty 2. Maleficent 3. Alex DeLarge 4. The Joker 5. Lestat De Lioncourt (debatable) 6. Hannibal Lecter 7. Alejandro Sosa 8. T-1000 9. Ra's Al Ghul 10. Anton Chigurh
My number one is a little unconventional but he's my favorite out of my top 10: 10 - Arnold Schwarzenegger as Terminator 9 - Ralph Fiennes as Amon Goeth 8 - Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine 7 - Gary Oldman as Norman Stansfield 6 - John Malkovich as Cyrus 5 - Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter 4 - Alan Ford as Bricktop 3 - Bruce Willis as Jackal 2 - Allan Rickman as Hans Gruber 1 - John Lithgow as Eric Qualen Eric Qualen was so villianous even his own men wanted to kill him. Hans' a close second.
My #1 pick as well. So many great one liners. And when you see Oldman the villain it's not just the one he's currently playing but also all the other villains he's been in the past. They kind of all meld together. He is at once Dracula, Lee Harvey Oswald, the Devil, the Ruskie terrorist from Air Force One, and the glass-eyed Rastafarian pimp named Drexl. But Stansfield is the best. I HAVENT GOT TIME FOR THIS MICKEYMOUSE BULL****!
He's #1 on my list. Its not just what he did, but the way he did it. Owen Davian - Philip Seymour Hoffman MI3 Hedley Lamarr - Harvey Korman Blazing Saddles
