    STP - Purple

    In no particular order:

    1. Bossanova - The Pixies
    2. Trompe Le Monde - The Pixies
    3. Radiohead - The Bends
    4. Radiohead - OK Computer

Ahhh crud. Actually my list is pretty much Blake's list replacing Yo La Tengo and Nirvana with the 2 pixies albums.

Where's all the love for Hammer, Tone Loc, Marky Mark, Spice Girls, and Vanilla Ice?

OK, in no particular order, here are mine (I could be a smart ass and just list all the greatest hits albums from 60's and 70's artists, but I will refrain)...

The Sky is Crying by SRV
Luck of the Draw by Bonnie Raitt
    Nevermind by Nirvana
    Achtung Baby by U2
    Four by Blues Traveler
Representing the Mambo by Little Feat
Shake Your Money Maker by The Black Crowes
Live at Liberty Lunch by Joe Ely
Letter to Laredo by Joe Ely
    Monster by R.E.M.

I forgot to read Pitchfork's list first, but here it goes.

I don't really listen to a lot of music, but these are some 90s albums I think are great.

    Tool - Aenima
    Nas - Illmatic
    Weezer - Weezer
    Outkast - Aquemini
    Radiohead - The Bends
    Beck - Odelay
    Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
    Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang
    Jeff Buckley - Grace

Definitely. The 90's were the best decade for hip-hop, and it's not close. Some others that I didn't mention were Doggystyle, Warren G - G Funk Era, ATLiens, and Aquemini albums.
