I tried the spelling police, but Francis brought in all of the young fans. There were too many of them. I got burned out. Sleepy now. I like virgin's account, but I'm guessing at a 55W record. ------------------ "At one of these governors' conferences, George [W. Bush] turns to me and says: 'What are they talking about?' I said: 'I don't know.' He said: 'You don't know anything, do you?' And I said: 'Not one thing.' [Bush] said: 'Neither do I.' And we kind of high-fived." --Republican Gov. Gary Johnson of New Mexico shares a verbal exchange that took place between he and George W. Bush. (Quote is from the Los Angeles Times, 5/31/00) Dubyah Speaks
2-80, as we win the first pick in the draft, pass over Morris, Eddy Curry, Woods, Chandler, Wallace, Griffin, etc. to draft Eric Chenowith. ------------------ The more lefties on your team, the better. Collier is Seven Foot and Left Handed. How can you go wrong? Trade or bench Kenny Thomas.
Way to go Vergin...that would really upset some people though, most notably David Stern. Also you forgot to include that Rashard will demand a trade after seeing how good the Rockets are, Webber will sign here to win the championship taking less money on process, Finely will sign for the minimum and we draft Morris, Curry. Add this up then we will have a DDDDYYYYNNNNAAAASSSSTTTTYYYY ------------------ Hack a Shaq you'll be winning Hack-him you'll be dreaming.
No Nike, we will trade our draft pick for a white guy called Joel Przybilla. ------------------ Hack a Shaq you'll be winning Hack-him you'll be dreaming.
55-27.... Rockets get 7th seed...Mavericks get 8th seed...We take on Portland in first round and we beat them BADLY...then we get way too over confident and lose to the Timberwolves or Suns in the second round. Dan langhi gets Rookie of the year and Collier gets the honor of being regarded as the worst rookie in the history of the NBA (including Rodrick Rhodes)...Mavericks some how win the championship... This is my prediction, and people say I am always right...(ha ha) and ease up on the new guy...nice post: Bballplayinplaya ------------------ ------------------ Hakeem: "Exit Suugar Lan" [This message has been edited by WizzyWig (edited August 04, 2000).]
The Rockets will go 41-0 this season, decide that noone is going to give them any significant challenge and decide to let Hakeem play the rest of the league by himself. He will struggle early with conditioning...especially during February...but will come out on top in the end. He'll take every series to seven games and win on a last second Dream-shake for two to retire with a third championship. Houston will beg him to come back, but he'll be content to walk off into the sunset, having decidedly made his point. That's the way it's going to happen, and you guys know it.....you just don't want to admit it. ------------------ "I'll take a Dream Shake for two, please."
