We remember LFO's position on this trend: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NHuGG_FsC20"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NHuGG_FsC20" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
i know this dude who wears nothing by af, he has the polos with popped up collars , the light wash vintage jeans and the flip flops. i personally think flip flops on a guy looks gay.
hahah im not the only one. yeah flip flops on a guy is pretty gay, unless of course you're at the beach or something.. that's an excuse.. but guys at the mall wearing that stuff.. pretty gay
I wear flip flop sometimes in the summer because it's easy to get in and out of. I don't think it's gay, but for the most part I wear my chucks. That's one thing I hate nowadays. I've worn chucks since I was practically a baby when nobody wore it and it was only the "weird" kids who did. Then all these rappers and famous people start to wear it then EVERYONE started wearing them. It disgusts me to no end. I remember when they were like 20 bucks a pop. Hell I used to get them for about 3 bucks from Asia. Now there's all these silly colorful chucks that costs $40. ridiculous.
I've never worn Chucks, but they appear to be the most uncomfortable shoes ever made. I'm talking about the classic Chucks. It has no support at all. Am I right, or is it just an illusion?
I'm still in high school, but I used to wear chucks back in elementary school. Pretty comfortable shoe.. what i hate.. is all these rappers being hypocrites.. for example.. "THE WHITEMAN DID ALL THIS TO US" "WHITE PEOPLE SUCK" next thing you know they are rapping about Vans.. "considered a skateboarder shoe.." and now they are "partying like rockstars" hypocrites
I think they are comfy for just everyday use. But you are correct, no support whatsoever. If you walk all day in them, your feet could start hurting.. but you'd have to be walking a whole lot. What I like about them is I can wear a low-top (get a high-top and cut it.. because I'm emo like that) without socks and my feet nor shoes never smell. Maybe it's just me. One mistake I did was went jogging in them. I thought "hey if those guys in the NBA back in 1865 used to play in them, why can't I jog in them?" Well needless to say, I ran a mile in them and I could barely walk after that mile. If you just wear them for casual use, they can last you at least 4-5 years (at least they did with me).. I even played a few games of Bball in them. Then they tore. RIP.
I don't step foot inside an A&F, but I do shop at the similar American Eagle...only because I am a small guy and they have small polos that fit me...plus the price is just right for what I have. For comparison, small Ralph Lauren polos, for instance are just a tad too large, but AE is fine. I'd switch over to some Gap stuff, but I fit in their XS and I can only find those online, but I like to see how I look in stuff before buying. Curse my Asian genes and limited growth spurt!
he was wearing these white flip flops, polo shirt, popped collar, and ripped jeans. these ****ing jeans were ****ing ripped all on the front, and they costs 100 bucks
This thread makes me happy I'm 46 years old. And...if you want to know....I'm a Saks 5th Avenue guy myself.
I'm not sure that guys discussing hanging out at the mall & which generic overpriced clothing chain of the moment is superior have any standing to declare another fashion choice as "gay". Trends suck.
