I predict that I will wait until the roster is set (which will probably be sometimes in October) before I make anymore predictions about next season.
We will make it to 8 seed and will get one Allstar player and do some trades later that year and get another asset or two
What others have said...this thread was started way too early. On an unrelated note, what record do you think the 2013/2014 Rockets will have?
42-40 forever and ever and ever and ever.. We are the new Blue Jays The two teams I care about will never break .500
Since we have no idea who will even be on the roster next season???? As the roster stands, w/o re-signing free agents Id say they would have a slightly less win % and end up around 39 - 43. Part of the reason why the Rockets did so well this last season was because of the depth that other teams just didn't have. After losing key free agents like Dragic, Camby, and Lee this team would have been in trouble. However, considering the Rockets "might be" bringing in 3 solid Rookies, resigning free agents, and making significant trades, the team will most likely look totally different in 8 months. There aren't very many players on the team you can tell me that you know for sure will be on the roster a year from now. Maybe Parsons, but even then he might be key to make a big trade. So who the hell knows.
I am hoping that OKC beats Miami, and the Heat will therefore be forced to trade Bosh. We can Scola+Lowry+pick. Then we do another big trade and have ourselves a 55 win team.
Bosh couldn't carry a team in the Eastern Conference to that amount and you think him and maybe Dragic could pull it off in the Western conference?
47 Wins. Marcus Morris gets it together with a training camp, and becomes a mismatch waiting to happen at back-up sf with Donuts spacing the floor at the 4 spot. We draft Kendall Marshell to back up Dragic and we trade kyle for something that gets us over the hump. 7th seed, 1st round exit.
Well... uhhh... looks like a lot of our predictions (including mine) were off-based now unfortunately. Gotta love roster makeovers!
