i didn't think so either. of course, she's a scientologist, so she's not really persuaded by that logic.
It's my understanding that these days, people in the military scoff at the Corps. At least, that's what my friend's friend who's a marine told me. He did not want anything to do with the Corps. He's finishing up school now after being at Gitmo and in Iraq and works as a recruiter there at College Station.
Wow, this made me think of my HS years...I took two different girls when I was a Jr. and Sr. and my Jr. date was my first love...we dated off and on after that and even in college, but we drifted apart...I heard she's still single, but not sure...The other one quickly married after college and I haven't heard anything since then...I actually made out with her sister years later, weird huh...
Sadie or Shelly? I think you're talking about Sadie ~ I talk to her at least once a month if not more now. She was going to come to Austin last week in fact for a visit, but it fell through - i'll definitely see her sometime this summer though.
I had 2. One my Jr. and one my Sr. My Junior year date is married to the next girl he dated after me, playing minor league baseball for the Chicago Cubs. Senior year date (and first guy to break my heart) is married to the next girl he dated after me. living in Po-Dunk Illinois.
I never had a prom since I left HS early to go to college, but I did have a gf take me to HER prom years later (yes, she was 18). She got a degree in Theater from Sam Houston State (isn't that the one in Nagcodoches?) University, did an acting internship in London, and is now living in LA and pursuing an acting career. We have kept in pretty close contact over the years and she is one of my favorite people to talk to.
I have no idea, where my date is. The after party was at the hotel that Clara Harris would make popular many years later though, that's one of the only things I can remember from that night.
