Once you’ve seen the light you’re changed forever. But seriously folks, I think one thing I’ve learned from this board is that we are often not as far apart as we think we are. The differences often revolve around the practical ways of achieving similar end objectives, and our different opinions often come from our different experiences.
I think this is spot on. Often the Democratic posture is more appealing to the eye, but in the end their solution is poor. The Republicans are more pragmatic, in my opinion, and more self-reliant. That's why I vote Republican almost all the time. While interesting, the quiz was way to brief to be too accurate.
I'm left-liberal. One thing that is more interesting to know is how the political philosophy is related to the country where one lives in and the political system that the country practices. btw, i'm from malaysia where the political system is Constitutional Monarchy headed by the Paramount rule (King) and a bicameral Paliament. The state Governament power is limited by Federal Constitution. swhwong
I hate to be put into little boxes. (Little boxes on a hilltop and there all made out of tickt tack la la la, anyone remember the Pete Seeger song?). I came out as a left-liberal. Have I told you guys (ok you two or three women, too) that I'm proud to be a left liberal?
Libertarian, but right of center. Not surprising really. I always felt that I would vote Libertarian if I thought they could win. I just don't want to take a vote away from the Republicans and have that much more chance of putting the Democrats (ewww) into office.
Wow bullseye. I knew I would be a Libertarian; a bit disappointed that Refman is as well. Notice the ideology of all of the "ideologies" sound great. Just as communism and socialism sound good on paper.
Look at who provides this "quiz" and tell me the questions are designed to put the conservatives into the libertarian bucket...
